Abstract:
The invention relates to a mobile radiation image capturing system and a method for operating a mobile radiation image capturing system, the system comprising system comprising: a radiation generation unit configured to generate X-ray radiation;a mobile carriage on which the radiation generation unit is mounted; a drive unit configured to move the carriage over the floor by linear motion in two dimensions and/or by rotation;at least one detection unit configured to capture a radiation image of an object based on X-ray radiation generated by the radiation generation unit and transmitted and/or reflected by the object; at least one sensor unit(10, 11) configured to determine an orientation and/or a position of the radiation generation unit and the detection unit relative to each other, at least one output unit(31) configured to output information to a user, a processing unit(30)configured to determine, based on the orientation and/or position of the radiation generation unit and the detection unit relative to each other, whether the radiation generation unit and the detection unit have a predetermined orientation and/or position relative to each other and, in the negative, to determine a positioning information on how the carriage and/or the radiation generation unit has to be moved in order to bring the radiation generation unit and the detection unit into a predetermined orientation and/or position relative to each other, and to control the output unit(31)to output the determined positioning information and/or to control the drive unit(33) to move the carriage based on the determined positioning information.
Abstract:
A surgical positioning system is provided that includes a dimensioned grid having a plurality of dimensioned radio-opaque lines corresponding to surgical variables and a substrate connected to or integral with the grid. This system is used to obtain subject, specific data from an image of a subject obtained during a surgical procedure by following the steps of: providing a grid having a plurality of dimensioned radio-opaque lines relating to surgical variables; placing the subject on a substrate; and obtaining subject specific data from an image of said subject. This invention relates to an apparatus made of a grid having a plurality of dimensioned radio-opaque lines relating to surgical variables and a sealable container sized to receive the dimensioned grid.
Abstract:
A radiation imaging apparatus includes: a housing configured to be hollow and extend along a first axial direction; a radiation emitter configured to be disposed in the housing and emit radiation along an optical axial direction perpendicular to the first axial direction; protruding units configured to extend along a second axial direction perpendicular to the first axial direction and the optical axial direction, and disposed to be fixed to both sides of the radiation emitter; and pressing units including an inclined unit disposed to contact at least one of the protruding units, so that the inclined unit and the at least one of the protruding units support each other.
Abstract:
The invention relates to tracking motion of a patient's jaw, wherein motion of a tracking item (50) which represents motion of the jaw is followed by at least one camera (22) arranged to a medical x-ray imaging apparatus (10) and wherein the motion detected by the at least one camera (22) is applied on a digital model depicting hard tissue of the jaw. The moving digital model of the hard tissue of the jaw thus generated is shown on a display (31 ) to visualize movement of the hard tissue.
Abstract:
Provided is a medical image processing apparatus including: a data acquisition unit configured to respectively acquire a plurality of medical images representing an object including at least one target at a plurality of different time points; and an image processor configured to generate, based on the acquired plurality of medical images, a diagnostic image showing a degree of change that has occurred in the at least one target over the plurality of different time points.
