摘要:
A disposable absorbent article having a crimped fiber spunbond nonwoven web is described herein. The disposable absorbent article has a topsheet, a backsheet attached to the topsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The crimped fiber spunbond nonwoven web is either at least a portion of the topsheet or the backsheet or at least a portion of the topsheet and the backsheet. The crimped fiber spunbond nonwoven web includes a plurality of apertures extending therethrough.

A disposable absorbent article having a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed therebetween is described herein. The topsheet includes an array of apertures and a first array of structures which are disposed adjacent the array of apertures. A first plurality of the array of apertures is disposed generally parallel to a longitudinal axis, a second plurality of apertures has a first Absolute Feret angle, and a third plurality of apertures has a second Absolute Feret angle. The first Absolute Feret angle is different than the second Absolute Feret angle.

A method of forming a three-dimensional laminate for an absorbent article is provided. The method comprises providing a first nonwoven layer, providing a second nonwoven layer, and applying a pre-strain force to the first nonwoven layer or to the second nonwoven layer. The method comprises joining the first nonwoven layer to the second nonwoven layer while the first nonwoven layer or the second nonwoven layer is in a pre-strained condition, and releasing the pre-strain force to form the three-dimensional laminate.

A patterned apertured web comprises a layer comprising a plurality of apertures and a plurality of land areas. The plurality of apertures comprise a first set of apertures in a first zone and a second set of apertures in a second zone. The first set of apertures in the first zone have Interaperture Distances, according to the Aperture Test herein. The Interaperture Distances of the first set of apertures have a first distribution having a first mean and a first median. The first mean is different than the first median. The second set of apertures in the second zone have Interaperture Distances, according to the Aperture Test herein. The Interaperture Distances of the second set of apertures have a second distribution having a second mean and a second median. The second mean is different than the second median. The first and second sets of apertures have different patterns.

The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the liquid permeable topsheet and the liquid impermeable backsheet. The absorbent article may comprise a substantially laterally-extending separation element defining a visual front portion and a visual back portion on a wearer-facing surface of the absorbent article. The liquid permeable topsheet may comprise a first zone in the visual front portion that comprises a first geometric treatment and a second zone in the visual back portion that comprises a second geometric treatment.

A topsheet made of a fibrous web or a perforated film and having a clear top layer containing about 5% to about 50% of jade particles. The jade particles having a mean diameter of from about 50 to about 600 microns and an aspect ratio from about 1 to about 5. Also disclosed is method for manufacturing the topsheet, as well as absorbent articles and facial protection masks containing the topsheet.

Tampons having a zoned apertured overwrap. The tampons can include a compressed absorbent member having an insertion end, a withdrawal end, a longitudinal axis, and a body disposed between the insertion end and the withdrawal end. The body can have a perimeter disposed substantially perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis and an exterior surface. The tampons can further include an overwrap covering at least a portion of the exterior surface. The overwrap can have a first zone and a second zone, the first zone having a plurality of apertures of a first diameter and the second zone having a plurality of apertures of a second diameter. In addition, the first zone and the second zone can be spaced apart from one another.
摘要:
The invention relates to an absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The topsheet includes a primary topsheet (10) and a secondary topsheet (20). At least some of the primary topsheet (10) has apertures (16) arranged in a regularly spaced first pattern (14). At least some of the secondary topsheet (20) has indicia (24) arranged in a regularly spaced second pattern (22), the indicia (24) being positioned, shaped and dimensioned to be substantially homogeneously visible through the apertures (16) in a first or non-use position, the secondary topsheet (20) being pivoted relative to the primary topsheet (10) by a pivot angle from the first position to a second or in-use position so that the indicia (24) of the secondary topsheet (20) are differentially out of alignment with the apertures (16) of the primary topsheet (10), forming a regularly spaced third pattern (26). The regularly spaced third pattern (26) facilitates correct positioning of the absorbent article whilst, simultaneously, masking any colored fluid absorbed by the absorbent core.

The present invention relates to a simple, cost-effective, stretchable, superabsorbent material-containing absorbent structure that provides the superabsorbent material particles therein with improved liquid holding capacity. The stretchable absorbent structure can be used in absorbent articles such as diapers, sanitary napkins, panty liners, and incontinence pads. The stretchable absorbent structure comprises a stretchable liquid impervious barrier layer (40) and an absorbent nonwoven component (43) that is bonded to the barrier layer when the barrier layer is stretched at least partially toward its stretched condition, and superabsorbent, hydrogel-forming material (41) deposited on or distributed within the nonwoven component.
