Abstract:
Exercise equipment, particularly a linear movable structure and associated selectable elastic resistance bands with or without guide track members are designed to allow low-impact exercises for one or two persons at the same time while permitting either or both participants to remain stationary when utilizing the equipment.
Abstract:
An exercise machine assembly provides a fluid-based resistance force and allows a user to exert a force against the resistance force. A fluid displacement device is coupled to the exercise machine assembly and rotatably driven by the force exerted by the user. A fluid container has a hollow body enclosing the fluid displacement device, allowing for the fluid displacement device to rotate therein, and encloses a fluid. The fluid container includes an inner reservoir and an outer reservoir that cause the fluid-based resistance force to vary based on amounts of fluid in the inner and outer reservoirs, respectively. Further, the inner reservoir has one or more openings through which fluid can flow from either of the inner reservoir or the outer reservoir to the other.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to a resistance based exercise apparatus including a means of externally controlling the level of resistance, and which enables the selective fitting (and retrofitting) of different resistance mechanisms. Further, the apparatus enables a user supported above a carriage to partake in resistance based exercises including, for example, Pilates.
Abstract:

Технический результат заключается в повышении качества тренировки сухожилий мышц различных частей тела.
Abstract:
Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.

Abstract:
A foot harness for resistance exercises. The foot harness may comprise: a top strap, a bottom strap, a heel strap, and one or more attachment points. A first end of the top strap, first end of the bottom strap, and first end of the heel strap may be coupled to one another at a first juncture region. A second end of the top strap, second end of the bottom strap, and second end of the heel strap may be coupled to one another at a second juncture region. The top strap may be adapted to engage with an upper portion of a shoe. The bottom strap may be adapted to engage with a bottom portion of the shoe. The heel strap may be adapted to engage with a rear portion of the shoe. The attachment points may be disposed at the first juncture region and the second juncture region.
Abstract:
A machine for concurrently or independently performing pressing motions with the hands and feet, the machine having a base having front and back ends, two or more linear slide rails, a lower body user support with an engagement means for the user's feet and an upper body user support with an engagement means for the user's hands. The upper body user support and lower body user support slide on the linear rails that are located proximally on opposing ends of the base frame and the upper body user supports and the lower body user supports cooperate with one another to move in opposing converging and diverging sloping linear movement patterns during operation of the machine.
Abstract:
A physical exercise device providing a stepper like motion for a user may include a pair of foot pedals and a pair of arms for engagement by the user while seated on the seat of the physical exercise device. The pair of foot pedals and the pair of arms may be connected to a drive train which provides contralateral motion between the pair of arms and the pair of foot pedals. A pedal and arm lock mechanism may also be provided which prevents the pedals and arms to be moved in a lock state, while allowing movement of the pedals and the arms when in the unlock state. The physical exercise device may also include computational and data acquisition units for receiving a position signal and pedal force signals and recording the signals.
