A system for forming a container from a preform includes a first mold having a plurality of first portions that cooperate to define a first internal surface against which the preform is blown for forming a first form. The system also includes a second mold having a plurality of second portions that cooperate to define a second internal surface against which the first form is blown for forming a second form. Also, the system includes a mold servo motor that actuates the plurality of first portions relative to each other and/or actuates the plurality of second portions relative to each other. Furthermore, the system includes a controller that controls the mold servo motor for controlled actuation of the plurality of first portions and/or the plurality of second portions.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Umformen von Kunststoffvorformlingen zu Kunststoffbehältnissen (10) mit einer Vielzahl von Blasstationen (4), welche jeweils wenigstens einen Aufnahmeraum aufweisen, innerhalb dessen die Kunststoffvorformling zu den Kunststoffbehältnissen expandierbar sind, und mit einer Transporteinrichtung (2), welche die Behältnisse entlang wenigstens eines vorgegebenen Transportpfades transportiert, wobei die Vorrichtung eine Vielzahl von Erwärmungseinrichtungen (6) aufweist, welche entlang des Transportpfads jedes Behältnisses stromaufwärts der Blasstationen (4) angeordnet sind, wobei wenigstens eine Erwärmungseinrichtung (6) wenigstens einer Blasstation (4) zugeordnet ist.

Process for manufacturing a plastic container (13) by blow moulding, in which a preheated preform (5) is placed in a mould (1, 2), while leaving part of the preform (5) intended to form the neck (6) of the container (13), outside the mould (1, 2), and a pressurized gas is blown into the preform (5), the deformation of said preform being assisted by stretch means, so as to make it conform to the internal walls of the mould (1, 2), characterized in that said stretch means apply a stretch force of at least 4 N to said preform (5) after a time of at most 1/30 s following the start of stretching, so as to make the material of the preform (5) undergo a displacement of at least 1/100 mm during this period. Machine for the production of receptacles of plastic. A stretching rod (32) is displaced by actuating means (69) comprising a servo-motor (72) whose operation is controlled by a controller installation (73) by means of an adjustment loop (75). The blowing air is introduced into the preform via a servo-valve (60) whose operation is also controlled by this installation (73) by means of an adjustment loop (76) which can be combined with the first adjustment loop (75). It is thus possible to control in a precise manner the process of transformation of a preform into a receptacle by means of curves of stretching and pressure increase. Calibration operations of the maximum path of the stretching rod as a function of the length of the mould cavities and calibration operations of the path of positioning of the stretching rod as a function of the preform can be carried out easily and in an automated fashion, thereby ensuring excellent safety of production and very high adaptability to all conditions of production.

A method for stretch blow molding a preform (21) in a mold cavity (205) is provided. The mold cavity (205) is coupled to a stretch blow molding system (200) including a cylinder (201), a piston (212) movable within the cylinder and a stretch rod (202) coupled to the piston. The method includes a step of actuating a first pre-blowing valve (234) from a first position to a second position to supply a first pre-blowing pressure to the preform (211) at a first pressure and a first flow rate. The method also includes a step of determining a stretch rod position and/or an elapsed time. While the first pre- blowing valve (234) remains actuated, the method actuates at least a second pre-blowing valve (234) from a first position to a second position based on the determined stretch rod position and/or the elapsed time to supply a second pre-blowing pressure to the preform at a second pressure and/or a second flow rate or exhaust pressure from the preform (211).

The apparatus includes a housing, a mold cavity, and a nozzle system disposed in the housing and operably connectable to the mold cavity. The nozzle system is positionable between a first position engaging the housing along an interface of contact preventing pressurized liquid from being injected into the container preform and a second position spaced apart from the housing permitting pressurized liquid to be injected into the container preform. The nozzle system further includes in some embodiments a seal portion having a first surface-the first surface engaging a second surface extending from the housing in the first position.
