Erfindungsgemäss wird eine Bremsstrecke As abhängig von der axialen Rückzugsgeschwindigkeit der Schnecke (4) ermittelt, wobei die Axialgeschwindigkeit während der Bremsstrecke so vermindert wird, dass die Schnecke exakt eine Endposition sE erreicht. Dazu wird die Drehzahl der Schnecke abhängig von der aktuellen axialen Rückzugsgeschwindigkeit der Schnecke variiert. Auf diese Weise können Nicht-Linearitäten bei einer Veränderung der Drehzahl im Vergleich zu einer Veränderung der axialen Rückzugsgeschwindigkeit ausgeglichen werden.

The method comprises supplying mouldable material (S1) into a supply chamber (21b), injecting mouldable material from the supply chamber (21b) into the mould via a delivery chamber using a first piston (21,a, S4), subsequently injecting mouldable material present in the delivery chamber into the mould and, during the injection of mouldable material into the mould using the second piston (21d,S6), the second piston causes the delivery chamber to be sealed off from the supply chamber (S5), allowing the mouldable material to solidify within the mould thereby forming the article and subsequently removing the article from the mould (S7). The method further comprises, when the second piston has caused the delivery chamber to be sealed off from the supply chamber, withdrawing the first piston (S8) and supplying further mouldable material into the supply chamber (S1).

The present invention relates to a flow restrictor for an injection moulding machine for the injection moulding of rubber materials or of elastomer materials, and comprises a flow restrictor module, an in-flow channel and out-flow channel provided therein, and also a flow restrictor device. The in-flow channel can have been provided at an angle with respect to the out-flow channel. The flow restrictor device comprises a flow restrictor piston which more particularly serves not only for restricting the flow of the material but also for injection of the rubber material or of the elastomer material into the injection mould. Use of the inventive flow restrictor can give a system and method for the temperature control of rubber materials or of elastomer materials during injection moulding, and this more particularly can achieve shorter cycle times.

Zudem ist eine Messkammer (31) zur Aufnahme einer Messprobe (19) des viskosen Materials (9) vorgesehen. Die Messkammer (31) weist dazu eine verschliessbare Material-Einlassöffnung (31.1; 85.1) auf. Von der Messkammer (31) führt eine verschliessbare Entsorgungsleitung (36) weg. Des Weiteren ist eine von der Messkammer (31) über die Folgeplatte (7) in den Behälter (8) führende verschliessbare Material-Rückführleitung (37) vorgesehen. Die Fördervorrichtung umfasst auch eine Steuerung (22), die derart ausgebildet und betreibbar ist, dass sie bei mehreren Messproben (19) jeweils deren Kompressibilität ermittelt. Abhängig von der ermittelten Kompressibilität, gibt die Steuerung (22) die Entsorgungsleitung (36) oder die Material-Rückführleitung (37) für die in der Messkammer (31) befindliche Messprobe (19) frei.
