본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 레진의 가압을 이용한 벤딩 커버글라스의 열전사 장치는 인쇄층이 부착된 인쇄필름을 벤딩된 커버글라스 상에 열전사하는 열전사 장치에 있어서, 상부에 4개의 엣지면이 벤딩된 상기 커버글라스가 놓이는 지그부를 구비하되, 상기 지그부가 곡률을 가지는 곡면으로 형성되는 하부 금형 부재, 및 상기 커버글라스를 기준으로 상기 하부 금형 부재 상에 대향되게 배치되며, 레진의 토출을 위한 단일 노즐부 및 레진이 토출됨에 따라 상기 커버글라스의 상면을 향해 상기 인쇄필름을 가압하여 열전사하기 위한 가압부를 구비하는 상부 금형 부재를 포함한다.

Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material (22) onto a surface (12) of an article (10) are disclosed, including apparatuses and methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. In some cases, the apparatuses and methods involve providing a deposition device (26), such as a printing device; providing a transfer component (24); depositing a material (22; 52, 54, 56) onto a portion of the transfer component with the deposition device; modifying the portion of the transfer component with the transfer material thereon to conform the transfer component to at least a portion of the surface of the three-dimensional article; and transferring the transfer material onto the surface of the article.

Apparatus (10) for color decoration of an article of ceramic material, comprising: a digital color printer (1 1), in particular of the laser type, advantageously constituted by a printer model already available in the market; - a separation bath (12); and a baking furnace (13); wherein the digital color printer (1 1) is configured both to print (21), using a plurality of cartridges (C1, C2, C3, C4) of colored ceramic toners (C, M, Y, K) accommodated in respective printing units (1 1-1, 11-2, 1 1-3, 11-4) of the digital color printer (11), a colored image (I) of ceramic toner on a printing support sheet (F), and to directly apply (22), using a special cartridge (C5), containing a ceramic fondant (FO), housed in a respective printing unit (11-5) of the same digital color printer (1 1), a layer of this ceramic fondant (FO) on the colored image (I), of ceramic toner, printed on the printing support sheet (F), and wherein the decal (D) formed by the colored image (I) of ceramic toner, printed on the printing support sheet (F), and by the layer of ceramic fondant (FO) applied on the image (I) during the printing step, is separated in the separation bath (12) from the printing support sheet (F) and then applied on the surface of an article (M) to be decorated, that finally is baked in the baking furnace (13), so as to stably fix the colored image (I) of ceramic toner on the surface of the article (M) and thus obtain the final decorated article (A). Advantageously the apparatus (10) allows to avoid quality defects, typical of conventional decal decoration processes, such as unwanted halos formed around the image that decorates the final article and the so-called "stamp effect", and moreover implies limited decoration costs since the apparatus uses a usual digital color printer, without modification, available in the market.

Provided in one example herein is a method of printing. The method includes disposing onto a transfer paper an ink composition to form thereon an image, the ink composition including pigments and latex particulates. The method includes transferring the image from the imaged transfer paper onto a substrate comprising fabric by a lamination process. The lamination process includes: laminating together the substrate, the imaged transfer paper, and a release paper, whereby the image is transferred from the transfer paper onto the substrate.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sicherheitsdokument (30"), ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Sicherheitsdokuments (30") sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines individualisierten Sicherheitsdokuments (30"). Das Sicherheitsdokument (30") weist ein Trägersubstrat (1) mit einer Trägerschicht (10) und einer thermosensitive Beschichtung (11) auf, die durch Einwirkung von Hitze, insbesondere mittels eines Thermodruckkopfes (911 ), zu einem Farbumschlag veranlassbar ist. Das Sicherheitsdokument (30") weist weiter ein zumindest bereichsweise transparentes Folienelement (2) auf, welches zumindest eine Dekorschicht (24, 25) mit mindestens einem optischen Sicherheitsmerkmal (51, 52) aufweist, sowie eine Kleberschicht (3). Die Kleberschicht (3) ist zwischen dem Folienelement (2) und dem Trägersubstrat (1) angeordnet. Die thermosensitive Beschichtung (11) ist zwischen der Kleberschicht (3) und der Trägerschicht (10) angeordnet. Das Folienelement (2) überdeckt die thermosensitive Beschichtung (11) zumindest bereichsweise, bei Betrachtung senkrecht zu der von der Oberseite des Trägersubstrats aufgespannten Ebene.

The invention relates to a method for applying colour graphics (5) to the sole plate of an iron (2), in particular a steam iron (3). According to the invention, at least one transfer with colour graphics (5) is applied to at least one area of the surface (1) of the sole plate of the iron (2) and is heated therewith (2). The at least one transfer is made from enamel power which contains at least one colouring agent.
