The label comprises a first layer that has different permeabilities to a gas in different lateral areas of the label and which comprises a substance that changes colour when in contact with the gas. The substance is arranged within the label such that the gas permeates across the thickness of the layer at different rates in different lateral areas so as to cause the substance to change colour at different rates in said different areas. Another label that changes appearance with time is disclosed that allows ink to permeate to its surface at different rates in different lateral areas.

The present invention relates to a deposition film containing a polyester-based film layer having heat-shrinking characteristics, and to the uses thereof in which the deposition film is used as a film label that can replace a paper label attached to a glass bottle. The polyester-based deposition film of the present invention comprises a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film base, a metal deposition layer formed on the base, and a print layer formed on the metal deposition layer. Disclosed are a polyester-based deposition film which satisfies specific strength requirements and a bottle having a label that contains the film and that is attached onto the bottle.
