El embellecedor de rueda de vehículos comprende un disco (1) que en su posición de uso cubre una llanta de una rueda de vehículo, y medios para la fijación del disco (1) a la llanta, y se caracteriza porque los medios para la fijación del disco (1) a la llanta comprenden una pluralidad de imanes (2) que pueden fijarse a unos tornillos (7) que fijan la llanta al vehículo. Permite conseguir una fijación rápida, sencilla e intuitiva del embellecedor a la llanta de la rueda del vehículo, ofreciendo también ventajas importantes a nivel de estandarización de llanta y tornillos.

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Rad, das aus einer Felge mit Felgenbett und einem zweiteiligen Radstern besteht, wobei der Radstern aus zwei Formteilen zusammengesetzt ist. Das erste Formteil bildet die Speichen mit einem offenen Querschnitt aus und ist mit dem zweiten Formteil zusammengefügt Die Speichen des ersten Formteiles sind vollständig oder teilweise entlang der Profillänge durch das zweite Formteil verschlossen. Der Radstern ist vorzugsweise formschlüssig in die Felge eingebunden. Sowohl die Felge als auch der zweiteilige Radstern können aus Metall, besonders bevorzugt aber aus Faserverbundwerkstoff bestehen.

A composite wheel assembly and method of construction thereof is provided. The composite wheel assembly includes a wheel having an inwardly facing surface, an outwardly facing surface, a generally cylindrical barrel portion, and a plurality of apertures formed about a central hub aperture. At least one wheel cladding is fixedly bonded to at least one of the inwardly facing surface, the outwardly facing surface, and the generally cylindrical barrel portion. The wheel cladding increases the stiffness and/or strength of the wheel between about 2-16% or greater as compared to the wheel not having the at least one cladding.

A lighting module has axial screws that extend axially rearwardly from a rearward surface of the module base and are respectively received in hollow screw bores extending axially rearwardly from a module mounting face of a vehicle wheel. A wheel that receives the lighting module has an axially inwardly facing sidewall into which are formed plural hollow bolt receivers. For each such bolt receiver, a keyed lock assembly having a radial bolt is provided within the body of the module. The bolt is operable to extend radially outwardly through a module bolt hole to a locked position within a respective wheel rim bolt receiver, locking the module to the wheel, and to be retracted radially inwardly to an unlocked position. A transparent cover of the lighting module protects plural LEDs mounted on a forward face of a circuit board.
