Abstract:
Abstract:
A pneumatic tire for agricultural or forestry equipment includes a tread, a pair of sidewalls, and a pair of bead portions including a bead core and a bead filler. A steel reinforced radial carcass extends from one bead portion to the other. The carcass includes an axially inner portion and outer turn-up portions that extend around the bead portions and terminate at turn-up ends. First and second steel reinforced belts are disposed between the carcass ply and the tread. Each belt has a pair of axial ends separated by belt wedges. The tire includes a pair of sidewall inserts that extend continuously from an upper end extending between the first belt and the carcass to a lower end between the inner portion of the carcass and one of the turn-up portions. A tie gum layer binds an innerliner to the carcass.
Abstract:
A tyre assembly for off -road motorcycle wheels comprises a tyre including a carcass structure (3), and a tread band (18) including a plurality of blocks (20) circumferentially spaced apart from each other by transverse grooves, and applied at a radially external position relative to the carcass structure, the assembly further comprising a toroidal polymeric foam or mousse (103) disposed at a radially internal position relative to the tyre, a thermally insulating and thermostable polymeric layer (102) having an axial extension equal to at least 60% of the extension of the crown portion of the tread, the thermally insulating polymeric layer being circumferentially disposed on either side of the equatorial plane of the tyre and interposed between the tyre and the foam (103).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a self-sealing tyre for vehicle wheels comprising at least one carcass ply (3), a tread band (7) in a crown zone of the tyre, at least one liner (9) applied in radially internal position with respect to said carcass ply, a sealing assembly (12) applied in radially internal position with respect to the liner and axially extended at least at a part of the crown portion; wherein said sealing assembly (12) comprises a self-supporting elastomeric film (11) comprising at least 50% by weight with respect to the weight of the film of a thermoplastic elastomeric polyurethane (TPU), and a layer of sealing material (10) associated with and supported by said self-supporting elastomeric film (11); wherein the self-supporting elastomeric film (11) is radially internal with respect to the layer of sealing material (10) and said layer of sealing material is in contact with the liner (9).
