L'invention concerne une composition à base d'au moins un polymère insaturé et d'un composé polysulfuré de formule générale (I) dans laquelle : A et B forment ensemble une liaison covalente ou alors A représente un atome d'hydrogène et B représente un groupement -S-R 1 - (S) m -R 2 - SH ou un atome d'hydrogène; m est un nombre compris dans un domaine allant de 1 à 3; - n est un nombre supérieur ou égal à 3; - p est un nombre supérieur ou égal à 1; R 1 et R 2 , représentent, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, des groupements identiques ou différents hydrocarbonés divalents comportant de 1 à 18 atomes de carbone, éventuellement interrompus par un hétéroatome. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication de cette composition ainsi que l'utilisation d'un composé polysulfuré de formule générale (I) comme agent de réticulation de polymères insaturés.

A compound for the manufacturing of a tread comprising at least one cross-linking unsaturated chain polymer base, a filler, a vulcanization system and a reinforced porosity system. The reinforced porosity system comprises a compound of the general formula (I) and a reinforcement fiber made of a combination of polyethylene and a hydrophilic compound CO 2 HCR 1 R 2 CO 2 H (I) wherein R 1 and R 2 , identical or different from each other, are either H or a hydrocarbon group C1-C4.

Dual-cure compositions for use in high temperature adhesive applications, and particularly for temporarily adhesively attaching one substrate to another substrate, are provided. These dual-cure adhesives are silicone-based compositions that can be B-staged by exposure UV radiation to provide initial green strength, followed by a C-stage cure to give adhesives that can survive high temperature processes above 200ºC, especially above 300ºC, yet easy to debond afterwards to allow separation of the top and bottom substrates.

The disclosure concerns compositions comprising: from about 40 wt. % to about 99.5 wt. % of a polymer base resin; from 0 wt. % to about 60 wt. % of a reinforcing filler; from 0 wt. % to about 25 wt. % of a lubricant; and from about 0.05 wt. % to about 6 wt. % of a cross-linking agent; wherein the composition is treated to induce cross-linking, wherein the combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt% and wherein the composition shows improved tensile fatigue versus a corresponding composition without the cross-linking agent.

A composition for manufacturing a crosslinked ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) copolymer with enhanced abrasion resistance and heat resistance is provided, the composition including ETFE, about 0.1-10% w/w of a metal oxide that effectively scavenges high levels of fluoride ions; and a crosslinking agent. Methods of using and making the composition are also provided.

The present invention relates to a rubber composition based on a reinforcing filler, on more than 35 phr of a liquid plasticizer exhibiting a Tg of less than -65°C, on an elastomer matrix that is reactive to the crosslinking system, which elastomer matrix comprises an elastomer A comprising monomer units of a first methacrylic acid ester which represent at least 20 mol% of the monomer units of the elastomer A, and on a crosslinking system. The rubber composition makes it possible to improve the wet grip of tires whose tread consists of the rubber composition, without degrading, or even while improving, the snow grip of tires.
