A releasable closure provides for the opening and closing of a package assembly which accommodates a plurality of elongate consumable products. The assembly includes a package housing for supporting the products. The package housing includes a first product accommodating compartment and a second product accommodating compartment separated by a hinge. Each of the product accommodating compartments has an open end adjacent the hinge. The product accommodating compartments are foldable about the hinge in a book-like fashion. The releasable closure is applied to each compartment and positioned to be in aligned facing relationship for mutual engagement upon closably folding the compartments about the hinge.

Implementations herein may involve a packaging system including a first box part including a plurality of lid walls, where a first lid wall comprises an aperture and a latch slidably disposed within the aperture. The packaging system may also include a second box part having a plurality of tray walls, where a first tray wall comprises a channel sized to slidably receive the latch. The channel may include an assembly channel segment and a locking channel segment, where the assembly channel segment intersects an edge of the first tray wall. Further, the second box part may be configured to fit within the first box part such that a) the assembly channel segment is aligned with the latch when the latch is in a first position within the aperture, and b) the latch is slidable within the locking channel segment to a second position.

A package for containing and dispensing contents includes a magnetic closure. The package defines a package interior for accommodating the contents. A pair of package portions defines an opening for accessing the package interior. The magnetic closure includes magnetic material which is placed on at least one of the packaging portions for permitting reopenable closure of the packaging portions.

The invention relates to a method for securing articles against theft. According to the inventive method, at least one strapping means (10) is tightened around an article (2) to be secured, whereby overlapping areas of the strapping means (10) are linked with each other. At least one electronically detectable securing element (21) is fed to the strapping means (10) in such a manner that the securing element (21) is included between the overlapping areas. The invention also relates to an installation (1) for securing articles against theft by tightening around them at least one strapping means (10) comprising a locking installation (18) for locking the overlapping areas of a strapping means (10) enclosing the article (2) to be secured. The installation further comprises a device for applying at least one electronically detectable securing element (21) to the strapping means (10) before the latter is closed.

Beschrieben ist ein Verfahren zur Sicherung von Gegenständen gegen Diebstahl, bei dem ein zu sichernder Gegenstand (2) mit mindestens einem Umreifungsmittel (10) umreift wird, wobei sich überlappende Bereiche des Umreifungsmittels (10) miteinander verbunden werden und wobei mindestens ein elektronisch detektierbares Sicherungselement (21) dem Umreifungsmittel (10) derart zugeführt wird, dass das Sicherungselement (21) zwischen den sich überlappenden Bereichen eingeschlossen wird. Weiter ist beschrieben eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Sicherung von Gegenständen gegen Diebstahl durch Umreifen mit wenigstens einem Umreifungsmittel (10) mit einer Schließeinrichtung (18) zum Verschließen sich überlappender Bereiche eines den zu sichernden Gegenstand (2) umschließenden Umreifungsmittels (10) und mit einer Einrichtung zum Aufbringen mindestens eines elektronisch detektierbaren Sicherungselements (21) auf das Umreifungsmittel (10) vor dem Schließen desselben.

The invention relates to a cushioning structure (1) for safety transporting heavy, large and fragile goods comprising a main frame (11) with a contiguous bearing surface (2), a carrier foil (5) attached to the main frame (11) at least fully covering the bearing surfaces (2) and the area enclosed by the bearing surface (2) as a carrying surface for the goods (10), wherein the main frame (11) comprises multiple foldable inner and outer side flaps (3, 4, 41) able to be folded into multiple supporting elements of connected inner and outer side flaps (3, 4, 41 ) to support the bearing surface (2) of the main frame (11) with a height defined by the dimensions of the outer side flaps (4, 41) and having a suitable profile to increase the resilience of the main frame (11) suitable for carrying goods (10) with weights of more than 25 kg and being collapsible into a two-dimensional structure in case of absent goods. The invention further relates to a container (8) reducible in size comprising the cushioning structure (1), a method to load the goods (10) into the container (8) and a method to collapse the empty container (8).
