The invention relates to a flow cell for purification of a fluid. It is thus an object of the present invention to provide a flow cell that allows for better circulation of the fluid inside the body of the cell. It is another object of the present invention to provide a flow cell with improved performance with respect to reduction in the number of viable bacteria and virus. We have now determined that performance of the flow cell (202) can be markedly improved by providing an inlet port (205) which is configured to direct the fluid emanating from the inlet port (205) in a direction within a cone having a semi-conical angle a (alpha) of 85°, with the cone axis parallel to the shortest geometric path between the inlet port (205) and the outlet port (207) wherein the cone extends in a direction away from the shortest geometric path; and, the direction is at an angle β (beta) of not more than 15° relative to the wall (213) adjoining the inlet port (205) of the vessel (202).

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (10) zur photochemischen Behandlung oder Reinigung von verunreinigtem Wasser, wobei die Vorrichtung (10) mindestens einen Strömungskanal (16) zum Durchleiten des verunreinigten Wassers aufweist, der zumindest bereichsweise von einer UV-Lichtaustrittsfläche (14) mindestens eines UV-Licht erzeugenden Körpers (12) begrenzt ist. Der mindestens eine Strömungskanal (16) kann Verwirbelungselennente (22; 24; 26; 28; 30) für das verunreinigte Wasser aufweisen.
Abstract:
A water faucet for the supply of germ-free water for human consumption comprises a faucet housing which is spatially separated from a water pipe that is arranged within the faucet housing. A contact protector with overflow openings is provided on a water outlet end of the faucet housing. The overflow openings prevent contaminated water from entering into the faucet, even if the water outlet of the faucet were to be blocked. An aerator is fastened on a discharge end of the water pipe inside the faucet housing. An air-gap is provided between the aerator and the water outlet opening of the contact protector. Internal surfaces of the faucet housing and of the contact protector are coated with a photocatalytic material such as titanium dioxide and are exposed to UV-A light from an ultraviolet light source while and after water is flowing through the water pipe.

본 발명은 밸러스트수에 대한 자외선 처리장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 자외선 처리장치의 바디 내에서 밸러스트수가 흐르는 공간과 흐르지 않는 공간을 분리하면서 자외선램프의 양단을 각각 결합지지하는 격벽이 바디에 일체로 형성되어, 격벽을 바디에 결합하는 복잡한 조립작업 없이 설치 및 교체가 가능하며, 일측 격벽의 램프삽입공과 타측 격벽의 램프삽입공이 동일 축선 상에 관통형성되어, 격벽을 바디에 결합하는 조립과정에서 램프삽입공 간의 동심축이 어긋나는 것을 방지할 수 있으며, 자외선 처리장치의 바디가 자외선램프가 삽입되는 방향에 수직인 단면이 사각형상으로 형성되고, 상기 바디 내부 공간에서의 세척부 구성들의 설치 및 교체를 위한 설치보수공 및 그 개폐를 위한 상부덮개를 형성하는 일체형 바디로 형성된 밸러스트수 자외선 처리장치에 관한 것이다.
Abstract:
A method and system of providing ultrapure water for semiconductor fabrication operations is provided. The water is treated by utilizing a free radical scavenging system and a free radical removal system. The free radical scavenging system can utilize actinic radiation with a free radical precursor compound, such as ammonium persulfate. The free radical removal system can comprise use of a reducing agent. The ultrapure water may be further treated by utilizing ion exchange media and degasification apparatus. A control system can be utilized to regulate addition of the precursor compound, the intensity of the actinic radiation, and addition of the reducing agent to the water.

Provided herein are systems and methods for the treatment and purification of fluids (e.g., water) using a light-emitting diode (LED) light source. In one embodiment, for example, there is provided a fluid flow conduit having an LED light source and a photo-catalytic material disposed therein. The LED light source emits ultraviolet light with a peak wavelength between about 265nm and about 400nm. In operation, the photo-catalytic material absorbs the ultraviolet light from the LED light source, and releases free radicals into the fluid. The free radicals then degrade organic substances (e.g., bacteria) in the fluid.

There is described a radiation source module for use in a fluid treatment system. The radiation source module comprises: a housing having an inlet, an outlet and a fluid treatment zone disposed between. The fluid treatment zone comprises a first wall surface and a second wall surface interconnected by a floor surface. The first wall surface, the second wall surface and the floor surface are configured to receive a flow of fluid through the fluid treatment zone. The radiation source module further comprises at least one radiation source assembly secured with respect to the first wall surface and the second wall surface and a module motive coupling element connected to the housing and configured to be coupled to a module motive element to permit the radiation source module to be installed in and extracted from the fluid treatment system. A fluid treatment system comprising the radiation source module is also described.

본 발명의 정수기 살균장치는 중앙에 유입공이 형성되고 상기 유입공 측방에 배수공이 형성된 저수통과, 상기 저수통의 하부면에 설치되어 상기 배수공과 연통되는 배출공을 내부 주앙에 수직으로 형성하고, 상기 배출공에서 외주연 방향으로 분기공을 연통시킨 고정부와, 상기 고정부의 배출공에 수직으로 관통시킨 살균램프를 상기 저수통 내부공간에 위치시키면서 살균램프와 일체로 형성된 단자부가 배출공 하부 입구 단부에 결합되도록 하여 살균램프와 배출공 내주연 사이의 이격공간으로 유입된 저수가 살균되어 분기공으로 배출되도록 하는 살균부와, 상기 배출공 상부 단부에 지지되어 이격공간 내부에 결합하여 상기 이격공간을 하나 이상의 공간으로 구획시켜 배출공으로 유입되는 저수가 분기공측으로 흐름될 때 복수회 지그재그식 흐름을 유도하여 상기 살균부로부터 발현되는 자외선에 저수이 노출시간을 늘리도록 하는 흐름유도부로 구성한다.
