The invention relates to a vibrating table for use in the method for manufacturing of granulate from calcium carbonate meal, magnesium carbonate meal or a mixture thereof comprising tabletop equipped with vibration means and connected to the support with shock- absorbing means, characterized in that the tabletop comprises sections parallel to each other forming a cascade over which the granular material in a form of a mixture of the meal and the microgranulate formed therefrom is moved, wherein each of the sections are independently inclined by 10-25% relative to the support and equipped with scraping means for removing the meal from section of the cascade and breaking up the granules, and a sprinkler delivering the granulation liquid in a form of droplets. Disclosed herein is also a method for manufacturing of granulate from calcium carbonate meal, magnesium carbonate meal or a mixture thereof, the granulate obtained by this method and use of this granulate as a filler for plastics.

The flame proofing agent according to the invention can be used as a flame retardant in the high-temperature range. The invention further relates to an inorganic, halogen-free flameproofing agent produced from modified, recarbonized and rehydrated red mud, which can be used as a flame retardant both in the low-temperature range as well as in the high-temperature range, and to methods for producing same and the use thereof as flame retardants, substitutes or surrogates, synergists, thermal stabilizers, heat accumulators, heat insulators and/or sound insulators and/or as electromagnetic radiation shielding materials.

The invention relates to an agricultural additive comprising one or more polymers selected from the group consisting of synthetic poly-carboxylic acids and silicate polymers, which has the effect of enhancing plant growth by reducing soil metal toxicity. The invention further relates to an agricultural composition comprising the agricultural additive and an agricultural liming material. The additives and compositions of the invention can be used in place of liming materials to achieve the same or better soil detoxification benefits and consequent yield increases, or can be used in conjunction with liming materials, thereby reducing the quantity of liming material required to achieve the desired soil detoxification benefits. The invention thus also relates to a method of reducing or eliminating the quantity of liming material required to be applied to soil and/or plants to reduce or ameliorate soil metal toxicity, and generally to a method of reducing or ameliorating soil metal toxicity thereby enhancing plant growth.
