A method for producing 2-chloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropane (HCFC-244bb) from a reaction composition including a mixture of HCFC-244bb and 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233xf) by selectively hydrogenating the HCFO-1233xf component of the mixture in a vapor phase in the presence of hydrogen gas and a catalyst to generate a product composition including unreacted HCFC-244bb and hydrogenation products of HCFO-1233xf, such as 2-chloro-1,1,1-trifluoropropane (HCFC-253db), which may be separated from the HCFC-244bb by distillation. The separated HCFC-244bb may then be purified by subsequent acid neutralization and drying steps.

Abstract:
본 발명은 방사성 의약품의 제조방법에 대한 것으로서, 상세하게는 방사성 의약품으로 이용될 수 있는 유기 플루오르화 지방족 화합물의 제조방법, 상기 제조된 유기 플루오르화 지방족 화합물의 정제방법 및 역류방지 반응용기를 포함하는 카세트를 이용한 방사성 의약품의 제조방법에 대한 것이다. 본 발명에 따를 경우 단순한 공정으로도 고수율, 고효율, 고순도로 유기 플루오르화 지방족 화합물을 제조 및 정제가 가능하고, 합성장치의 파손없이 안전하게 방사성 의약품을 제조할 수 있는 효과를 갖는다.

The invention relates to a process for the preparation of compound of formula (I) wherein R 1 is halogen and R 2 is halogen or hydrogen; comprising a) reacting the compound of formula (II) in an aprotic organic solvent in the presence of an aprotic polar co-solvent with a magnesium amide base followed by a halogenating agent, to the compound of formula I wherein R 1 is halogen and R 2 is hydrogen, and b) reacting the compound of formula (I), wherein R 1 is chloro and R 2 is hydrogen, in an aprotic organic solvent in the presence of an aprotic polar co-solvent with a magnesium amide base followed by a halogenating agent to a compound of formula I, wherein R 1 is chloro and R 2 is halogen.

A process for treating a composition comprising one or more desired (hydro)fluoroolefins and one or more undesired halogenated ethanes, halogenated methanes or mixtures thereof so as to reduce the concentration of at least one undesired halogenated ethane or halogenated methane, the process comprising contacting the composition with an adsorbent comprising pores having openings which have a size across their largest dimension of about 6 A or less.
