Es werden neue hochkonzentriert fliessfähige Perlglanzkonzentrate vorgeschlagen, enthaltend (a) 20 bis 45 Gew.-% Perlglanzwachse, (b) 0,1 bis 6 Gew. % Aniontenside, (c) 0,1 bis 8 Gew.-% nichtionische Emulgatoren aus der Gruppe der Polyolester mit den Massgaben, dass sich die Mengenangaben mit Wasser und gegebenenfalls weiteren Hilfsund Zusatzstoffen zu 100 Gew.-% ergänzen, das Mengenverhältnis von Perlglanzwachsen (a) zu nichtionischen Emulgatoren aus der Gruppe der Polyolester (c) im Bereich von 12 : 1 bis 7 : 1 liegt und das Mengenverhältnis von Polyolestern zu Aniontensiden im Bereich von 2 : 1 bis 0,8 : 1 liegt.

Laundry or toilet bars comprising one or more surface active agents such as soaps or synthetic detergents are prepared using an alkoxy or aryloxy polyhydroxy fatty acid amide to improve bar smear, cracking or wearing qualities. Palm oil chain-length fatty acid amides of N-(3-methoxypropyl) glucamine and N-(2-methoxyethyl) glucamine are examples of the glucamide surfactant used in such bars.

The present invention provides a hard surface cleaning composition in the form of a toilet block, wherein the composition comprises fatty acid soap, a co-surfactant and from 1 to 30% by weight of a foam booster and stabilizing ingredient. Preferably, said ingredient is selected from the group consisting of C 8 -C 20 alkyl triamines, C 8 -C 20 alkyl dipropylene triamines, C 8 -C 20 alkyl diethylene triamines and mixtures thereof. The invention also provides a cage-less lavatory cleansing device comprising a toilet block of the invention and a method of producing said device. The invention further provides a method of cleaning the interior of a toilet bowl.

Liquid laundry detergent compositions comprising anionic surfactant, fabric care agent, cationic deposition aid and performance booster are disclosed. The performance booster is chosen such that it will not react with the cationic deposition aid or fabric care agent to form a coacervate and/or to precipitate from solution. Such performance boosters may compensate for reduced cleaning efficacy of anionic surfactants and/or fabric care agents which interact with cationic deposition aids.

High sudsing detergent compositions comprising N-alkoxy polyhydroxy fatty acid amides are provided by the addition of secondary carboxylate surfactants. Thus, cocofatty acid N-(3-methoxypropyl) glucamide is used in liquid, granular or bar compositions in combination with conventional detergent ingredients and secondary fatty acids such as 2-methyl undecanoic acid. The compositions exhibit high, relatively persistent suds and high emulsifying and cleaning properties, especially with respect to greasy soils of the type commonly found on eating utensils and in food stains on fabrics.
