Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Spülen von Wäsche (7) in einer Waschmaschine mit einer Steuereinrichtung (12) zur Steuerung eines Programmablaufs, einer in einem Laugenbehälter (1) drehbar gelagerten Trommel (2), einer Heizeinrichtung (13), einer Pumpe (16) und einem Antriebsmotor (14) für die Trommel (2), worin im Anschluss an eine Waschphase in einer Spülphase mit einem oder mehreren Spülschritten mindestens im letzten Spülschritt nach dem Hinzufügen der letzten Spülwasserportion in den Laugenbehälter (1) und dem Durchspülen der Wäsche (7) (a) die Pumpe (16) eingeschaltet und eine im Laugenbehälter (1) befindliche freie Flotte (6) abgepumpt wird; (b) die Pumpe (16) anschließend abgeschaltet wird und bei abgeschalteter Pumpe (16) die Trommel (2) mit einer Schleuderdrehzahl ω 1 betrieben wird, um den Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der feuchten Wäsche (7) aus Schritt (a) zu verringern und das dabei ausgetriebene Wasser im Laugenbehälter (1) aufzufangen, so dass für die Wassermenge q im Laugenbehälter q = q col gilt; (c) für den Fall, dass die im Schritt (b) aufgefangene Wassermenge q col set ist, der Laugenbehälter (1) mit Wasser aus der Wasserversorgung (8, 9) aufgefüllt wird, bis für die Wassermenge q im Laugenbehälter 1 q ≥ q set gilt; (d) die Wassermenge q im Laugenbehälter (1) auf eine vorgegebene Temperatur T set erhitzt wird; (e) das erhitzte Wasser aus Schritt (d) in der Wäsche (7) verteilt wird; und (f) die Trommel (2) mit einer Schleuderdrehzahl ω 2 betrieben wird, um in der Wäsche (7) verteiltes erhitztes Wasser aus Schritt (e) aus der Wäsche (7) zu treiben und abzupumpen. An operating method of a washing machine capable of efficiently washing and sterilizing laundry with a relatively large amount of contaminants is disclosed. The operating method of a washing machine which includes a tub for storing washing water, a drum for accommodating laundry, and a steam generator that is supplied with water for generating steam separately from the washing water to supply steam to the laundry, the operating method including performing a primary rinsing operation for rinsing the laundry to discharge contaminants having a relatively large size to prevent a secondary contamination due to the contaminants having a relatively larg size, performing a steam washing operation for supplying steam to steep the contaminants in water and sterilize the laundry while operating the drum, and performing a main washing operation for removing the contaminants and dissolving protein through high-temperature washing water containing a detergent while operating the drum.
