The method can include the steps of: providing an additive manufacturing making apparatus; providing a material for the unitary deflection member, the material being compatible for use with the additive manufacturing making apparatus; generating a 3-D digital image of objects in a repeat element of the unitary deflection member, the objects including at least a reinforcing member and at least one protuberance of the unitary deflection member; assembling the objects into a digitized file including the at least one protuberance being on said reinforcing member; importing the digitized file to make numerical control file; and depositing the material using the additive manufacturing making apparatus to make the unitary deflection member.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a papermaking fabric for a fibrous web forming and/or processing machine, the fabric extends in a MD-direction and in a CD-direction and comprises a top fabric layer and a bottom fabric layer, the two fabric layers are bound together by binder yarns, wherein the top fabric layer provides a web contacting side and has a top weave structure formed by interweaving of first MD-yarns with first CD-yarns and the bottom fabric layer provides a machine contacting side and has a bottom weave structure formed by interweaving of second MD-yarns with second CD-yarns, characterized in that the top weave structure is repeated in top weave repeats, wherein per top weave repeat the top weave structure forms one or more fiber compression area(s) and one or more fiber support area(s) recessed in thickness direction of the fabric relative to the fiber compression area(s) on the web contacting side and fiber support areas are separate from each other by one or more fiber compression area(s) and/or vice versa, wherein i. a fiber compression area being formed by one or more adjacent top MD-float(s) on the web contacting side or a fiber compression area being formed by one or more adjacent top CD-float(s) on the web contacting side and ii. a fiber support area being formed by several of the first MD-yarns interwoven in a plain weave with several of the first CD-yarns.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to belts useful in the manufacture of paper products, such as tissue paper. Particularly this invention relates to a belt used in a through-air drying process for making tissue products, and more particularly to an additively manufactured belt having a particular pattern thereon which imparts properties to tissue products manufactured therewith.
Abstract:
A multilayer belt structure that can be used for creping or structuring a cellulosic web in a tissue making process. The multilayer belt structure allows for the formation of various shaped and sized openings in the top surface of the belt, while still providing a structure having the strength, durability, and flexibility required for tissue making processes.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Paper products, such as hand towels, have high absorbency, high caliper, and good perceived softness. Two-ply products have a caliper of at least about 260 mils/8 sheets and an SAT capacity of at least about 650 g/m 2 . The paper products are made using a structuring fabric that has a high planar volumetric index, which indicates a relation between the contact area ratio of a papermaking web contacting surface of the structuring fabric and the volume of pockets of the fabric.
Abstract:
Provided are patterned tissue webs and patterned rolled tissue products, and methods of manufacturing the same. The patterned tissue webs and products are manufactured by topically applying a pattern to a partially dewatered tissue web having a consistency from about 10 to about 50 percent. After application of the pattern, the tissue web is dried to a consistency from about 90 to about 100 percent. A wide variety of patterns may be applied to the tissue web in this manner, such as continuous and discontinuous patterns, and for example, a plurality of spaced apart continuous stripes of color oriented in the machine direction of the tissue web.
Abstract:

Eine Querschnittsform der ersten Musterkomponente (3) und eine Querschnittsform der zumindest einen weiteren Musterkomponente (4) sind verschieden.
Abstract:
A hybrid multi-ply tissue paper product (1) comprising at least three plies made of tissue paper base-sheet, wherein: - at least one ply is a structured ply (10, 11, 12) produced by a structuring manufacturing method, the structured ply (10, 11, 12) comprising a structured back face (19); - at least another ply is a wet pressed ply (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 15) produced by a wet press manufacturing method; wherein the structured ply (10, 11, 12) is positioned and orientated with respect to the at least two other plies such that the structured back face (19) of the structured ply (10, 11, 12) is facing the at least two other plies so as to dampen a two-sidedness effect related to the structured back face (19).
