Abstract:
The invention provides an acoustic panel comprising a plurality of parallel- arranged elongated cavities, wherein each cavity has a first cavity wall and a second cavity wall tapering to a cavity back end and defining a cavity opening angle (.) having a value in the range of 0°
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wall panel unit (1) made of a fire-proof material and a wall structure produced therewith. The wall panel unit (1) comprises two mainly rectangular plate-like wall panel elements (2, 3) the longer sides of which are provided with edge folds (2b, 2c, 3b, 3c) produced from the edges of the wall panel element and that are arranged to be attached against each other using the said edge folds (2b, 2c, 3b, 3c) so that a two-sided at least mainly closed wall structure part is formed. The said edge folds (2b, 2c, 3b, 3c) of opposing wall panel elements comprise guide and support parts (2d, 2e, 3d, 3e) perpendicular with the surface (2a, 3a) of the wall panel elements that have been arranged to cooperate together so that the wall panel elements (2, 3) can be installed into each other mainly perpendicularly to the surface of the wall panel elements and which are kept in contact with each other without separate fastening means. The edge folds (2b, 2c, 3b, 3c) are additionally designed to comprise overlapping parts (2f, 2g, 3f, 3g) inthe direction of the surfaces (2a, 3a) of the wall panel elements for improved stiffness and for supporting the wall panel elements (2, 3) to each other.
Abstract:
A fire-shielding U-shaped outer frame element adapted for supporting a side of at least one wall element in a wall construction, said outer frame element being elongate and comprising a bottom part and a first side flange and a second side flange extending at an angle to the bottom part, interior surfaces of the side flanges being adapted for extending along exterior surfaces of the wall element. The outer frame element (1 ) comprises a plurality of perforations (15) and a first elongate strip (16) of a material having thermal shielding properties and being arranged on a surface of the first and/or second side flange (13, 14) of the outer frame element (1 ) so as to shield the wall element from heat from a fire. A set of parts include an outer frame element and a fastenings means for use between wall elements when making a wall construction.
Abstract:
A wall section for use as party walls in apartment buildings and commercial buildings is disclosed. The wall section comprises a ferro concrete member disposed between a first sideboard and a second sideboard. The first sideboard and the second sideboard may be mechanically fastened to the ferro concrete member. Alternatively, they may also be fastened to the ferro concrete member using chemical adhesives. A gap between the ferro concrete member and one or more of the first and the second sideboards may be filled with insulation material. The sideboards may comprise any one of dry board, fibreglass, cement boards or recycled dry boards. Moreover, the ferro concrete member may comprise a cavity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a flexible, board-like product made from a stiff board (1, 3) and elastic material (2) and a method for manufacturing it. The product comprises one or two surfaces of material (1 and/or 3), a layer of elastic material (2) and grooves (4). The grooves are cut through material (1, 3) to material (2). The grooves (4) according to the invention are machined in the boards particularly by means of a circular saw. The product has excellent acoustical properties.
Abstract:
A device which can be fixed to the edge of a panel, for example a sound-absorbing panel formed by heat-bonded synthetic fibres, is described. The device comprises a body with a longitudinal through- hole and two walls which define a cavity for enclosing the edge of the panel. The through-hole communicates with the cavity. The through- hole is configured to guide a threaded element (screw or the like) towards said cavity so that said threaded element engages at least with said edge of the panel so that it expands towards the walls of the cavity and is firmly retained by them.
Abstract:
Abstract:
In a dividing wall element for room partitions the filling of heat insulating material between the outer skins (2, 3) arranged at a certain distance from each other is structured into several insulating layers (4, 5, 6) that are differently specified as far as their heat insulation, sound absorption and/or elastic properties are concerned.
Abstract:
An example apparatus is disclosed that may be a demising wall that may include two structurally insulated panels (SIPS). Each of the SIPS may be configured to span between a floor and a ceiling of a building unit, and the two SIPS are spaced apart to define an interstitial space between the SIPS, wherein each of the SIPS includes an interior surface having a magnesium oxide board and an exterior surface having a fiber cement board. An example method is disclosed for assembling a demising wall to a floor panel. An example apparatus is disclosed that may be an end wall panel that may include two SIPS. Each of the SIPS may be configured to span between a floor and a ceiling of a building unit. An example method is disclosed for assembling an end wall panel to a floor panel.
