Described herein are methods for unidirectional installation of a surface covering comprising: providing a plurality of floor tiles, each tile comprising: a linoleum core; a top major surface; a bottom major surface; a machine direction edge extending between the top major surface and the bottom major surface running parallel to the machine direction of the tile and; an across machine direction edge extending between the top major surface and the bottom major surface running parallel to the across machine direction of the tile; wherein the machine direction of the tile has a first dimensional stability; and the across machine direction of the tile has a second dimensional stability; placing a first tile on a support base; placing a second tile on the support base adjacent the first tile; and abutting the machine direction edge of the second tile with the machine direction edge of the first tile.

미끄럼 방지 바닥재, 상기 미끄럼 방지 바닥재의 제조 방법 및 상기 미끄럼 방지 바닥재를 이용한 바닥 시공 방법. 상기 미끄럼 방지 바닥재는 폴리올레핀 분말을 포함하고, 상기 폴리올레핀 분말은 실란으로 코팅된 것이다. 또, 상기 미끄럼 방지 바닥재는 폴리올레핀 분말과 바닥재용 고분자를 포함하는 바닥재용 주재 및 고분자 경화제를 포함하는 바닥재용 경화제를 포함하고, 상기 폴리올레핀 분말은 실란으로 코팅된 것이다. 상기 미끄럼 방지 바닥재의 제조 방법은 폴리올레핀 펠렛을 분쇄하여 폴리올레핀 분말을 형성하는 단계 및 상기 폴리올레핀 분말을 실란으로 코팅하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 미끄럼 방지 바닥재를 이용한 바닥 시공 방법은, 실란으로 코팅된 폴리올레핀 분말을 포함하는 미끄럼 방지 바닥재를 바닥에 도포하여 미끄럼 방지층을 형성하는 단계를 포함한다.

A removable artificial turf panel system (10) with an artificial turf panel (13,31) that has a plurality of upstanding ribbons (65) extending from a backing layer (68). An infill layer (69) is interspersed between the upstanding ribbons on the backing layer. The outside of the backing layer may be provided with one of a magnet (103) and a ferromagnetic (103) material. The magnet/ferromagnetic material cooperates with a corresponding magnet/ferromagnetic material disposed in a channel (71) on a layer of elastomeric (59) material that supports the artificial turf panel. Accordingly, an artificial turf panel can be removably attached to a section of elastomeric material on an artificial turf playing surface. A method of installing a removable artificial turf panel is also disclosed.
