    摘要: An ice liner assembly for a fan containment case for a turbofan gas turbine engine is disclosed. The disclosed ice liner assembly includes a plurality of arcuate panels arranged end to end to form a cylindrical liner that is disposed within the fan containment case and aft of the fan and abradable strip liner that circumscribes the fan. Because the plurality of arcuate panels are arranged end to end fashion, the ice liner assembly includes a plurality of splice joints, or a joint between two abutting ends of two arcuate panels. The splice joints are reinforced with molded polymeric splice support cores that are substantially lighter and less expensive than currently employed high density aluminum honeycomb core materials.

    摘要: The invention relates to the slide bearing of a centrifugal pump. The slide bearing is lubricated by the pumped medium and comprises a stationary part disposed in the housing of the centrifugal pump and a part revolving about the shaft of the centrifugal pump and interacting with the stationary part to give a sliding pair. One part of said sliding pair consists of a composite material, especially carbon fibers or SiC fibers with a matrix from PEEK, carbon or carbon combined with SiC, while the other part has a sliding surface that consists of a hard metal material and is supported by a support material. The aim of the invention is to provide a slide bearing of the above-mentioned kind that can be used in chloride-containing and corrosive media and whose sliding surface is not prone to chipping corrosion. To this end, a melt compound is interposed between the hard metal material of the sliding surface and the support material of the respective part of the slide bearing supporting the sliding surface.

In another aspect, the preferred embodiments provide a method for manufacturing a motor assembly for use in an electrical submersible pumping system. The method includes steps of preparing magnet wire having an electrical conductor and a polyether ether ketone film insulator.
