Abstract:
A liquid-tight connector (10) is attached at one end to an aperture in a junction box, a panel box, a motor or the like. The opposite end of the connector (10) is adapted to receive a free end of a length of flexible conduit (58). A cuff (20) is positioned on the connector (10) to conceal the free end of the conduit from view.
Abstract:
The inventive coupling for microcomponents consists of several essentially plane parallel plates (1) with line connections (4) for delivering and discharging liquid or gaseous components. Said line connections (4) are mounted on a connection block (6) which protrudes through openings (5) in the plates (1) with fixing segments (10). The line connections open out in the area of the line bores in the plate (1).
Abstract:
Disclosed is an adjustable length pipe connector having an axially extending and hollow pipe body with internal threads configured therein. The pipe body also includes external threads configured on outer portion thereof for coupling the connector to the pipe connection. Further, the pipe body includes a washer configured within the pipe body. The washer is adapted to be moved axially within the interior portion. Also, a first and a second length adjustor peg is configured within the pipe body. The first length adjustor peg and the second length adjustor pegs are adapted to be moved and positioned adjacent to the washer so as to achieve a desirable length of the adjustable length connector. Finally, upon achieving the desirable length, the washer is juxtaposed relative to the first peg and an excess portion of the pipe body adjacent the second end is removed. In an another option washer provided having a cylindrical shape and yet another the washer may be configured to have a wire mash and would help to block impurities, there by acting as a filter.
Abstract:
A pipe joining device (1) for forming a junction in pressurised and rehabilitated pipes between a first pipe (2) and a branch pipe (3), the pipe joining device (1) comprising a substantially rigid body (10) at least in part of thermoplastic, the body (10) including a first pipe sealing portion (14) adapted to form a seal with the first pipe (2) and a branch pipe sealing portion (15) adapted to form a seal with the branch pipe (3).
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The diameter of a front end opening section(20-1) formed rearward in a predetermined length from an front end opening of a male member reception hole (20) is set greater than the diameter of a male member reception section (20-2), continuous to the front end opening section, of the male member reception hole. When the insertion of a male member (12) into the male member reception hole (20) of a female member (14) is started, a seal ring (16) set in an annular groove (24) that is formed in the male member is deformed by its engagement with the female member (14). This causes a backup ring (18)in the annular groove (24) to be pressed radially outward and engaged with an inner wall surface (20-3) of the front end opening section (20-1). As a result, the seal ring (16) is prevented from coming out radially outward from the annular groove (24).
Abstract:
A system for providing communication with the interior of a pipe having a threaded opening in the pipe wall including a tubular member having external threads (60) engageable with the pipe threaded opening with a toroidal elastomeric seal (10), a tubular thrust bushing (14) and a tubular casing (16) slidably positioned on the tubular member, the casing extending telescopically over at least a major portion of the elastomeric seal and a nut (18) threadably received on the tubular member and engageable first with the thrust bushing and then with the casing, the nut when threadably advanced towards the pipe wall serving to displace the thrust bushing to force the elastomeric seal into engagement with the pipe in the area thereof surrounding the threaded opening and displaces the casing to achieve effective sealing contact with the pipe wall surrounding the threaded opening, the casing serving to confine and direct the elastomeric seal against the exterior of the tubular member.
