A method and apparatus for creating a deteriorated video feed from actions of a user. The apparatus receives a video feed from one or more cameras, within an enclosed area comprising one or more tangible instruments of a system on which the user performs the actions, wherein the video feed provides images related to the actions performed by the user interacting with the system through the one or more tangible instruments. The apparatus captures one or more visual-perception inhibitors affecting the user, wherein the one or more visual-perception inhibitors affect the user while performing the actions in the system. The apparatus comprises a video processing module for deteriorating the video feed by selectively modifying images from the video feed into a deteriorated video feed considering the captured one or more visual-perception inhibitors.

Embodiments disclose a method and system for segmenting medical images. In certain embodiments, the system comprises a database configured to store a plurality of medical images acquired by an image acquisition device. The plurality of images include at least one first medical image of an object, and a second medical image of the object, each first medical image associated with a first structure label map. The system further comprises a processor that is configured to register the at least one first medical image to the second medical image, determine a classifier model using the registered first medical image and the corresponding first structure label map, and determine a second structure label map associated with the second medical image using the classifier model.

Techniques related to disparity search range compression are discussed. Such techniques may include determining a combination of disparity search values that do not coexist in any search range of multiple search ranges each associated with pixels of an initial disparity map, compressing the combination of disparity values to a single disparity label, and performing a disparity estimation based on a disparity search label set including the single disparity label.

An image processing device (10) performing color balancing of a first image (11a) and at least a second image (12a) is provided. The image processing device (10) comprises a color balancing determination unit (20) and a color balancing calculation unit (21). The color balancing determination unit (20) determines a global gain vector (t) comprising at least two gain factors (â n , â n+1 ) of the first and second images (11a, 12a) by minimizing a cost function based upon reference pixel values of the first and second images (11a, 12a). The first and second image reference pixels depict a shared color scene of the two images. The color balancing calculation unit (21) performs color balancing of the first image (11a) based upon the gain factor (an) of the first image (11a) and to perform a color balancing of the second image (12a) based upon the gain factor (â n+1 ) of the second image (12a).

The invention relates to an encoder and a decoder and methods therein for supporting screen sharing, where the screen sharing comprises encoding pictures F representing pixels of a shared screen, providing said pictures to a decoder where they are decoded. The method performed by the encoder comprises deriving information related to an object which is moved on the shared screen between two pictures F n and F n+1 . At least part of the derived information is related to an intermediate position of the object, on the shared screen, between the two pictures F n and F n+1 . The method further comprises providing said information to the decoder, thereby enabling the decoder to generate intermediate pictures, F IMD , in addition to the pictures, F, based on the provided information, wherein the object is generated in different positions in said intermediate pictures, F IMD , thus reconstructing the movement of the object between two provided pictures F n and F n+1 .
