Abstract:
A light fixture is configured such that the fixture can replace a light bulb in a light bulb socket, wherein the fixture further has a continuously adjustable portion to which a secondary light bulb socket is coupled. Most preferably, the adjustable portion is configured as a gooseneck and/or a telescoping element.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improved screwless pushbar lampholder comprising an outer shell having a shade ring, an upper dome and barrel joined to each other by means of a union ring, an insert comprising a body, a cover removably attached to each other, means for switching the lamp, placed between the said body and said cover of the said insert, wherein a pair of spring actuated plungers housed in the said hollow cover of the said insert, a pair of protrusions placed parallely adjacent to the said pair of springs inside the inner portion of the said cover of said insert, three U-shaped protrusions provided on the outer portion of the body of said insert for the insertion of terminal wires, wherein a pair of resilient terminals with an open edge angle are provided to grip the said main terminal wires provided through the said U-shape protrusion, a pair of cavities provided in the inner side of the body of the said insert conforming to the size and shape of said resilient terminals to house the said terminals, means for gripping the earth wire and said dome of the shell by way of a screwless earth terminal housed in the said insert body, a cord grip provided on the outer portion of the body of the said insert to grip the said terminal wires and means for demounting the said terminal wires provided at the back of said U-shape protrusions for the smooth removal of said terminal wires.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are devices and methods for the design and manufacturing of electronic eyeglasses and associated components thereof. Electronic eyeglasses consist of electro-active lenses, receiving electrical signals that turn them on and off from an electronic control module. The electronic control module is embedded within a temple of the eyeglass frame, and is powered by a removable power source pack residing at a temple tip through a flexible cable. Various methods describe the interconnection schemes between the components of the electronic eyeglasses.

Abstract:
Electronic lamp control circuit for connection betwen a lamp bulb (10) and a wall receptacle (12) controlled by a wall switch (14). The lamp control circuit (18) includes switching circuitry which permits complete control of the lamp (10) from either the wall switch (14) or a switch (48) included in the lamp control circuit. The lamp control circuit permits a user to turn off the lamp by actuating the wall switch (14) and to later turn on the lamp by actuating the lamp control switch (18) and to turn off the lamp (10) with the lamp control switch (18) and later turn on the lamp using only the wall switch (14).

Abstract:
A multiple positioning assembly with integral switch contact includes a cylindrical housing along with a ball assembly including a ball portion received by the cylindrical assembly. The ball portion includes an electrically conductive surface and a neck extending therefrom. A plurality of spaced apart spring retainers are disposed within the cylindrical housing with electrically conductive coil spring contacts therein. Adjacent spring contacts complete an electrical circuit through the ball portion surface when in simultaneous contact therewith. Spring contacts further enable positioning of the ball portion within the cylindrical housing for conical movement of the neck with the ball portion being axially moveable between the spring contacts.
Abstract:
An improved fluorescent light adapter for incandescent light fixtures. The adapter may be directly wired in to the Edison light fixture, and also includes locking structure to prevent theft. Specifically, the adapter includes a lower housing with a plurality of channels, some of which include locking ramps for mating with inwardly directed teeth on the lower sleeve portion of a standard Edison light fixture. To retrofit an existing light, the standard Edison socket is disassembled and the adapter is simply pressed downward locking onto the lower sleeve. The adapter may be provided with an on/off switch or a three-way switch, and includes a variable height neck portion for adapting to a variety of lamp shades and bases.
