The present invention relates to a system for producing a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using biogas as fuel and to a method for controlling same. The system for generating polymer electrolyte fuel cell using bio gas as fuel according to the present invention comprises: a temperature and humidity control unit; a biogas refining unit which removes impurities such as siloxane and hydrogen sulfide from the biogas; a biogas concentration unit which concentrates the biogas such that the methane purity becomes 95% to 100%; a reforming unit which reforms the biogas to hydrogen to obtain reformed hydrogen fuel; a fuel cell unit which produces electric power using the reformed hydrogen fuel; an integrated control unit which controls the operations of the temperature and humidity control unit, biogas refining unit, biogas concentration unit, the reforming unit, and the fuel cell unit; and a gas analyzing unit which analyzes the biogas concentrated by the biogas concentration unit and which enables the biogas to undergo the gas refining and gas concentration processes again if the methane purity is not 95% to 100%. According to the present invention, the biogas consists of methane like natural gas, and is used as an energy source to produce electric power from a fuel cell, replacing natural gas in order to reduce fuel costs and thus reduce overall costs.

Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to conversion of renewable energy such as solar, wind, falling water, wave and biomass resources into energy forms for practical transport by existing electricity and natural gas transport systems and includes embodiments for cyclic conversion of rectilinear forces into electricity wherein charged particles force a separate population of charged particles to flow in a separate circuit to create an electric current. Forces exerted at a first frequency are converted into cyclic electrical current at a frequency that is a multiple of the frequency of the forces. Similar arrangements are provided for conversion of rotary forces into electricity. Components of the disclosure can be manufactured at a high rate from very low cost materials with minimum energy requirements for the purpose of generation of low-cost electricity from linear motion engines and renewable forces such as ocean waves and flowing fluids such as water or air. Corrosion and biofouling are eliminated by application of cathodic and chemical treatments produced by the operation of the disclosure. Various embodiments of the disclosure allow improved cogeneration and motor vehicles, household appliances, and industrial equipment to be operated on energy converted from rectilinear forces.
A system and method for increasing the efficiency of an ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) system is described. In some examples, the system collects thermal energy using a solar collector, warms ocean water located within the solar collector, and provides the warmed water to an OTEC system, such as to a vaporizer of a heat engine. In some examples, the OTEC system provides electricity and other energy to another system, creating a cycle of sustainable economic development of energy and resources.
