Abstract:
Killing one or more biting arthropods selected from the group consisting of mosquitoes, bed bugs and ticks is accomplished by bringing the biting arthropods into contact with a toxic amount of a formulation comprising: (1) one or more compounds of structure (I), wherein the compounds of structure (I) is as defined in the summary.
Abstract:
The present invention relates ΐο agricultural emulsion concentrates which form stable oil- m-water emulsions when diluted with water. More specifically, the invention relates to stable oil-in-water emulsions which include cinnamaldehyde and diallyl disulfide with a Calsogen® BH and Surfonic® CO 36 emulsion system. The increased stability of the emulsion allows for efficient mixing of the emulsion ingredients and effective storage and application of the cinnamaldehyde and diallyl disulfide to areas in need of nematode protection or treatment.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the synthesis and application of novel chiral/ achiral substituted methyl formyl reagents to modify pharmaceutical agents and/or biologically active substances to modify the physicochemical, biological and/or pharmacokinetic properties of the resulting compounds from the unmodified original agent.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides compounds, compositions of matter and methods related to XZH-5 and related chemical therapeutics. The inhibitory effects of a series of small molecules structurally related to XZH-5 on STAT3 phosphorylation is disclosed, as are the results of that inhibition, including induction of apoptosis, reduction of colony forming ability, inhibition of IL-6- induced STAT3 phosphorylation, and nuclear translocation and STAT3 DNA binding activity.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Compositions and methods for inhibiting the sprouting of potato tubers are provided. The compositions comprise combiantions of i) a,ß-unsaturated aliphatic aldehydes, and ketones,C3 to. C14 aliphatic aldehydes and ketones, and/or C3 to C7 saturated or unsaturated primary and secondary aliphatic alcohols; and 2) conventional sprout Inhibitors, The effect of the combinations is additive and/or synergistic, and less of the conventional inhibitor is required to achieve the same or improved levels of sprout inhibition.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to substituted azoanthracene derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof that modulate the human GLP-1 receptor and that may be useful in the treatment of diseases, disorders, or conditions in which modulation of the human GLP-1 receptor is beneficial, such as diabetes mellitus type 2. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and to the use of these compounds and compositions in the treatment of such diseases, disorders, or conditions in which modulation of the human GLP-1 receptor is beneficial.
Abstract:
Symmetrical curcuminoids molecular compounds that have been found to have anti-injury activity. It has been shown to benefit burns and photodamaged skin. The improvement is mediated via inhibition of phosphorylase kinase activity. Phosphorylase kinase is released within 3 minutes following injury. Blocking the elevated phosphorylase kinase activity released after injury by phosphorylase kinase inhibitiors, such as symmetrical curcuminoids, results in rapid reversal of burns injury and repair of photodamaged skin.
