대황 추출물 또는 2-phloroeckol을 유효성분으로 포함하는 에너지 대사 촉진 또는 개선용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 일 양상에 따른 대황 추출물, 2-phloroeckol 또는 이의 허용 가능한 염을 유효성분으로 하는 조성물에 의하면, 에너지 대사를 촉진하고 체지방을 감소시키는 효과가 있어, 비만 및 대사성 질환에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

본 발명은 배 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 프리바이오틱 조성물에 관한 것으로, 배 추출물이 장내 유익균용 배지에서 락토바실러스 애시도필러스(Lactobacillus acidophilus) 및 스트렙토코커스 써모필러스(Streptococcus thermophilus) 균주의 성장을 촉진하는 것과 대표적인 프리바이오틱스인 프락토올리고당 및 갈락토올리고당과 그 기능면에서 거의 동등하다는 것을 확인함으로써, 배 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 프리바이오틱 조성물, 상기 프리바이오틱 조성물을 포함하는 신바이오틱 조성물, 및 상기 항의 신바이오틱 조성물을 포함하는 기능성 식품 조성물을 제공한다.

Disclosed is a process for manufacturing a concentrate for making a premix for a frozen confection, wherein the concentrate is in the form of granules. The process comprises the steps of: (a) forming an oil-in-water emulsion wherein the fat droplets in the emulsion have an average particle size (D 3,2 ) of less than 1 micron, the emulsion comprising fat in an amount of at least 65% by weight of the emulsion; (b) providing powder comprising saccharides, non-saccharide sweetener and/or protein; (c) combining, in a granulation step, the powder and the emulsion to form a mixture with a moisture content of less than 10% by weight of the mixture, wherein the emulsion binds the powder into granules; and (d) recovering the granules from step (c).

In general, certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide compositions or mechanisms for oral administration of caffeine via a functional nutraceutical confectionary composition. According to various embodiments, a nutraceutical confectionary composition is provided with a ratio of caffeine to L-theanine ranging from about 1:1 to about 1:2. In some embodiments, the ratio of caffeine to L-theanine is about 2:3. In various embodiments, the nutraceutical confectionary composition may provide caffeine in a range from about 5 mg to about 100 mg per serving. L-theanine may be provided in a range from about 5 mg to about 200 mg per serving. In some embodiments, caffeine may comprise about 0.8% to 10% by weight of the composition; and L-theanine may comprise about 1.2% to 20% by weight of the composition. In certain embodiments, the nutraceutical confectionary composition may comprise a chewing gum.

The invention relates to a savoury concentrate containing: a) 22-85 wt.% inorganic salt; b) 2-60 wt.% fat; c) 0.8-8 wt.% of gellan gum; d) 0-25 wt.% of glutamate component; e) 0-25 w.% starch component; f) 0-20 wt.% of sugar; g) 0-45 wt.% of vegetable matter; h) 0-10 wt.% water; wherein the components a) to e) together constitute at least 55 wt.% of the savoury concentrate and wherein the components a) to h) together constitute at least 75 wt.% of the savoury concentrate. This savoury concentrate can suitably be used in the preparation of bouillon, broth, soup, sauce or gravy, and not only imparts taste and taste enhancement, but additionally improves texture of the final product.
