Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to a cleaning tool, a tool system, and specific tool head designs. The disclosure is useful for cleaning fryers in restaurants.
Abstract:
A grill-cleaning tool has a water-absorbent layer fabricated from a material that is suitable for transferring a volume of water. A fire-resistant layer is disposed outwardly of the water absorbent layer. A scrubbing outer layer fabricated from a metallic-mesh material covers both the fire-resistant layer and the water-absorbent layer. The water-absorbent layer and the heat-resistant layer may be incorporated into a single unit or may be separate layers. Fasteners are provided for assembling the layers together to form an assembled grill-cleaning tool.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cleaning implement based on melamine-formaldehyde foam comprising hollow microspheres, wherein said hollow microspheres have a median particle diameter (D50, volume averaged, Malvern, Fraunhofer diffraction) in the range from 260 µm to 490 µm, and wherein the hollow microsphere are at least partly filled with a benefit agent. Additionally the present invention encompasses a method for cleaning a hard surface with a cleaning implement according to the present invention.
Abstract:
An anti-microbial cleaning scourer (40) comprises an abrading sheet material (10) which is secured to a backing layer (42). The abrading sheet material (10) comprises a knitted ground structure (14) with looped threads (12) from a surface thereof. The ground structure (14) comprises a copper yarn arranged in parallel lines. The backing layer (42) has parallel lines of copper wire which are arranged transversely to the parallel lines of copper yarn in the ground structure (14) to form a grid.
Abstract:
The present invention is a cleaning article including a substrate, a base coating on at least a surface of the substrate, and a surface coating disposed on the base coating. The surface coating includes water, a binder, a cross-linker, a thickener, and decorative particles. The decorative particles constitute between about 30 to about 300 grams per square meter wet basis weight of the cleaning article. At least about 50% of the decorative particles remains on the cleaning article after use.

Abstract:
A rotating tool comprises a rotatably supported hub, around the circumference of which a number of working tip elements (4) are arranged. The hub consists of at least one essentially disc shaped, elastic, and in the axial direction elastically deflectable hub section (6), and the working tip elements (4) are located in the ends of pin-like holders (16) which are imbedded in the hub section (6).
Abstract:
A rotatable base for a porous pad has openings that provide for improved flow distribution of a liquid in the base across a substrate. The rotatable base can be molded from a two piece mold and the openings can have draft angles to facilitate the molding process.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a scouring web and a method of making a scouring web. The scouring web comprises a plurality of metal fibers and a plurality of polymeric fibers. The metal fibers and polymeric fibers are combined and a portion of the polymeric fibers secures the metal fibers and polymeric fibers together to form the web.
Abstract:
An abrasive cleaning apparatus (10) has an integral drum (D) formed of inner (26) and outer (36) layers of resilient materials and a rigid layer in between. Holes are formed through drum (D) in a spiral pattern around the drum. A wire (W) is engaged in each hole (H), the wire (W) having opposing ends and three bends. One end of wire (W) is inside drum (D) with an adjacent portion lying circumferentially on an inner surface (30) of drum (D). A portion of wire (W) outside drum (D) is aligned in an opposite circumferential direction as the portion of wire (W) inside drum (D). A retaining cylinder (R) sandwiches an end of wire (W) inside drum (D) between itself and an inside surface of drum (D), holding wire (W) stable. The end of wire (W) inside drum (D) is in close proximity to ends of adjacent wires, which inhibits rotation of a wire in its hole in the drum.
