Methods of eliciting an immune response with the immunogenic compositions as disclosed and methods of treating a Sapovirus infection are also described.

摘要: Provided herein are non-naturally occurring, broadly reactive antigens derived from influenza viruses that are immunogenic and capable of eliciting a broadly reactive immune response, e.g., a broadly reactive neutralizing antibody response, directed against influenza virus antigens following introduction into a subject. Also provided are non-naturally, broadly reactive immunogens, vaccines, virus particles, virus-like particles (VLPs) and compositions comprising the immunogens and vaccines. Methods of generating an immune response in a human or non-human subject by administering the immunogens, vaccines, VLPs, or compositions thereof are provided. In particular, the immunogens comprise broadly reactive hemagglutinin (HA) protein antigens or soluble HA protein antigens of influenza virus strains, such as H1 or H3.

摘要: The present disclosure provides recombinantly manufactured fusion proteins comprising a SARS-CoV-2 Receptor Binding Domain (SARS-CoV-2-RBD) fragment or an analog thereof linked to a human Fc fragment for use in relation to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (CQVID-19). Embodiments include the administration of the fusion proteins to patients that have recovered from COVID-19 as a booster vaccination, to antibody naive patients to produce antibodies to the S ARS-CoV-2 virus to enable the patients to become convalescent plasma donors, to patients who have been infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus and have contracted COVID-19 in order to limit the scope of the infection and ameliorate the disease, and as a prophylactic COVID-19 vaccine. Exemplary Fc fusion proteins and pharmaceutical formulations of exemplary Fc fusion proteins are provided, in addition to methods of use and preparation.

摘要: The present invention relates to a protein subunit vaccine comprising at least one antigen characterized in that it comprises at least one monomer from at least one variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), wherein the at least one monomer is selected from the group consisting of the S1 subunit of the Spike protein or the receptor- binding domain (RBD) of the Spike protein. In an aspect of the present invention, the protein subunit vaccine comprises at least one antigen characterized in that it comprises two monomers from at least one variant of SARS-CoV-2, wherein each of the monomers are selected from the group consisting of the S1 subunit or RBD protein, and wherein the monomers are chemically bound to each other, optionally through a linker, forming fusion dimers or non-fusion dimers. The protein subunit vaccine may further comprise at least an adjuvant and at least an immunostimulant.

摘要: Vaccine formulations comprising polyglycerol polyricinoleate (PGPR) are disclosed. Certain disclosed exemplary vaccine formulations comprised an aqueous phase comprising inactivated bacteria and/or viruses, and/or bacterial and/or viral antigens. One particular embodiment comprised an inactivated H9N2 PGPR emulsion-based vaccine for day-old chicks. Disclosed PGPR-based vaccine formulations can be administered alone, or in combination with or as a composition including a second standard fast release vaccine. Disclosed vaccines delay antigen release, and therefore delay an immune response in a subject receiving the vaccine, typically by 7 - 35 days. The present invention also concerns a method for vaccinating a subject, such as poultry or fish, with disclosed vaccine formulations, as well as a method for making PGPR-based vaccine formulations.
