Abstract:
Disclosed are a base composition for anti-wrinkle of lips capable of being stably mixed with other lipstick components when it is added to a lipstick, a lipstick including the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. The base composition for anti-wrinkle of lips is manufactured by mixing asiaticoside, which is an active component for anti-wrinkle of lips, with a base comprising galactosylceramide, cholesterol, polyhydric alcohol and liquid oil. The lipstick including the base composition for anti-wrinkle of lips according to the present invention can have a very excellent anti-wrinkle effect upon its application to the lips, and also be safely used nearly without irritation to in sensitive skin tissues of the lips since the asiaticoside which is the active component for anti-wrinkle is stably maintained in the lipstick.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a cosmetic product for lip make-up or care in the form of an anhydrous film comprising: a) at least one water-soluble polymer, and b) at least one dye. Said anhydrous film dissolves in contact with saliva to provide lip make-up or treatment.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising at least one cosmetically acceptable organic liquid medium and at least one filmogenic, linear, sequenced, ethylenic polymer, said polymer being such that when a sufficient amount thereof is present in the composition, said composition can form a deposit whose transfer is 35 % or less. The invention can be used in makeup and in the care of keratin materials, i.e. skin and lips.
Abstract:
Methods for making a sour tasting cosmetic lip product containing one or more acids dissolved in a base composition, and the products formed thereby, are disclosed. The products possess a pleasing sour taste while not producing irritation or burning on the lips or mouth. Ingredients such as sunblocks, moisturizers and vitamins may be added to the compositions depending on the properties desired in the final product. The compositions according to the present invention comprise from about 2% to about 25% by weight acid and are preferably anhydrous.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to cosmetic compositions that comprise a a safe and effective amount of a bonding agent selected from the group consisting of aldehydes and ketones having the structure I wherein X represents a cosmetic benefit agent that may or may not be attached via a chemical linker and R represents hydrogen, straight or branched alkyls, substituted or unsubstituted aryls, and combinations thereof and b a cosmetically acceptable carrier for the bonding agent wherein the composition is administered topically to mammalian proteinaceous substrates and wherein the bonding agent reacts with a protein contained in the substrate such that the bonding agent, and thus the cosmetic benefit agent, is covalently attached to the substrate. The invention further relates to methods of using the compositions described above as well as various products that include the claimed compositions.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for making a coloured make-up cosmetic composition designed to provide a transparent or translucent coloured deposit on the skin, the lips or the skin appendages, comprising the following steps: (a) selecting a cosmetically acceptable base opaque, translucent or transparent in its volume; (b) preparing at least a series of samples of said cosmetic base, each series containing increasing amounts of a dyeing agent dissolved or dispersed in the cosmetically acceptable base; (c) spreading each of the samples of said series on a transparent plate having a recess of a depth of 10 mu m; (d) measuring, for each of the samples of said series, the transmittance of the film thus formed at the wavelength corresponding to a maximum of one of the absorption or diffusion peaks ( lambda max) of said dyeing agent; (e) plotting a calibration curve by transferring the values of transmittance at lambda max based on the concentration of said dyeing agent; (f) selecting, on the resulting calibration curve, a concentration of said dyeing agent corresponding to a transmittance at lambda max ranging between 20 and 80 %, and (g) incorporating at least a dyeing agent of at least one series to the series with the concentration selected at step (f) in a cosmetic base in liquid state, identical to or different from the one used in step (a). The invention also concerns cosmetic compositions obtained by said method.
Abstract:
A physiologically acceptable composition containing at least one liquid fatty phase which comprises at least one structuring polymer having a polymer skeleton which comprises at least one hydrocarbon-based repeating unit comprising at least one hetero atom; and at least one inert filler, with the proviso that the at least one inert filler is not acrylates polymer, silica, talc, or a bentonite clay.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a stabilised composition containing a colouring agent and an emulsifier, for use in cosmetics and/or dermatology. The association comprises at least a colouring agent and at least an emulsifier capable of forming a stable lamellar emulsion, such as hydrogenated lecithin, optionally combined with a fatty alcohol and one or several sugars. The invention is in particular applicable to coloured pomades and balms for cosmetic or dermatological use.
Abstract:
There is provided a cosmetic composition, preferably in the form of a nail polish, comprising a primary film former, one or more high-molecular weight polyurethanes, and, optionally, one or more arylsulfonamide epoxy resins.
