摘要: A filter-based dust collector with an integrated pre-separator, comprising a substantially vertically directed case (1), a filter unit (2) with one or more filters, communicating with an outlet (3) for cleaned air or gas, a cyclone-based pre- separator (4) located below the filter unit (2) but above a bottom (5) of the case (1), an intermediate storage chamber (6) for separated particles from the pre- separator (4) and from cleaning of the filter unit (2), a sluice (7) at the bottom (5) of the case (1) for further conveyance of separated particles down to a dust containment (8), an inlet (10) starting outside the case (1) for unclean air or gas, which is to be cleaned, leading to the pre-separator (4). The gas is driven through the dust collector, either through a suction device coupled to the outlet (3) of the case or a pressing one coupled to the inlet (10) of the pre-separator or an internally located power source or a combination of these three. The pre- separator (4) has a cyclone wall (9) with a smaller radius than the chamber's (1) radius at the height of the filter unit (2) with the object of increasing the pre- separation degree.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of cleaning particle loaded "dirty" air using a multi flow- splitter technology in combination with at least one cyclone system which requires minimal energy to operate due to low pressure drops used to generate the fluid flows whilst allowing to exert high centrifugal or G-Force on the infeed fluid stream. This further allows to operate the particle removal process such that conventional additional filter media become optional, such that the technology may operate a significantly reduced or even without the need for maintenance and/or repair. Low internal air turbulence ensures a very high separation efficiency. Optionally adding additional explosion safe low-energy down-stream filtration stages with variable speed system fan provides optimal operational performance and operational flexibility.

摘要: The invention relates to the dynamic separation of particles such as those resulting from crushing and grinding extracted minerals or recycled materials (glass, plastic, etc.). The separation is carried out by multi-stage dynamic separators (2, 3), a regulation being carried out therebetween by feeding a fluid. This latter can be a dense medium similar to that feeding the stages, and can have a rotational component with respect to the axis of the separator.

摘要: Recirculation cyclones for dedusting and dry gas cleaning - comprising a reverse-flow cyclone collector (a, b, H1, D1, h, Db, De1, s1) and a straight-through cyclone concentrator (De1, H2, D2; De2, s2, Dv), located in series and with recirculation - characterised by the collector being located upstream from the concentrator and by a recirculation line (Dv), that recirculates a fraction of the flue gases from the concentrator to the collector, by means of a fan, ejector or venturi. Dedusting and dry gas cleaning methods, characterised by making the flue gases pass through such a device. Utilisation of those methods and device to dedusting exhaust gases from diesel combustion or to dedusting and dry gas cleaning acid gases like HCl, HF, SO2 and/or NOx by an injection of a solid sorbent. The efficiency is always larger than that of a reverse flow cyclone alone, with the same geometry and size as the collector, and than that of recirculation systems with the concentrator upstream the collector, with comparable geometries and sizes.

摘要: A separation method and apparatus are disclosed having particular application for effecting removal of sand from a production wellstream, enhancing the quality of recovered oil, gas and water output streams (12, 13, 14) and reducing erosion caused by entrained sand. The wellstream is passed initially through a cyclone separator (4') which separates substantially all the water and sand as underflow and substantially all the oil and gas as overflow. A gravity separator (11) separates the overflow from the cyclone separator (4') into oil, gas and water, and a further cyclone separator (17) separates the underflow from the first cyclone separator (4') into water and sand.

摘要: A fluid conditioning system and method is disclosed for coupling to a first solution source comprising a suspension solution and particles suspended in the suspension solution. The fluid conditioning system includes a containment vessel (36) defining a treatment environment and including a wall defining a fluid passage and having an inlet apparatus (60). The inlet apparatus (60) is coupled to the solution source for receiving a solution stream and directing the solution stream through the passage helically along the cylindrical wall. The containment vessel (36) includes a sparging apparatus disposed downstream of the inlet apparatus for introducing a gas into the solution stream, and an outlet (46) for discharging the sparged solution stream. The system further includes a flotation tank (130) disposed proximate the containment vessel outlet (46) for receiving the discharged solution stream. The flotation tank (130) is adapated to carry a predetermined volume of a second solution to effect flotation of the particles to the surface of the second solution. The flotation tank (130) further includes a tank outlet for exiting processed effluent from the tank (130).
