At least one of the tines (20.1, 20.2, 20.3, 20.4, 20.5, 20.6) is partly transferring and comprises an upper finger (21.3) for transferring an upper cigarette in the column, a lower finger (21.4) for transferring a lower cigarette in the column, and a central retaining pocket (28) for accommodating the central cigarette (38.2). A web (30) with a slanting guide edge (32) extends between the upper (21.3) and lower (21.4) fingers for guiding the retained central cigarette (38.2) into the central retaining pocket.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Packing method and packing machine (18) for producing a sealed package (3); is envisaged to: wrap a sheet (7) of packing material longitudinally into a tube shape about a product to form a tubular package; heat seal the tubular package longitudinally, by means of a longitudinal heat seal device (48), to stabilize the shape of the tubular package; heat seal the tubular package transversely, by means of a transverse heat-seal device (49), to form two transverse heat seals (10) closing opposite ends of the tubular package at lateral walls of the product; interrupt the formation of at least one transverse heat seal (10), the transverse heat seal (10) itself over a limited portion of the tubular package, to leave a vent channel (67) extending astride the transverse heat seal (10) that connects the inside of the sealed package (3) to the outside; and close the vent channel (67) after the transverse heat seals (10) are formed.
Abstract:
Packing method and packing machine (18) for producing a sealed package (3) with an inner stiffener (12); the packing method comprises the steps of: forming a group (4) of articles in a group-forming pocket (26) of a group- forming conveyor (25) travelling along a group-forming path (PI); fitting the group (4) of articles with a stiffener (12); and wrapping a sheet (7) of packing material about the group (4) of articles enclosed in the stiffener (12); the step of fitting the stiffener (12) with the group (4) of articles comprises the further steps of: depositing the stiffener (12) onto the group- forming pocket (26) along the group-forming path (PI); folding the stiffener (12) about the group- forming pocket (26) along the group- forming path (PI); and expelling the stiffener (12) and the group (4) of articles together and simultaneously at the end of the group- forming path (PI).
