摘要: A spooled adhesive bandage dispenser includes a case, a replaceable cartridge and an activation wheel. The cartridge is disposed within the case and includes a bandage roll and a waste core. The bandage roll includes a strip of bandage packages sealed between two strips of packaging. The activation wheel is at least partially exposed outside the case. By rotating the activation wheel, the packaging strips are pulled apart and the bandage package is forced out of the case through a slot. At the same time, the packaging strips are wound around the waste core. When the bandage roll is gone, the entire cartridge may be replaced.

摘要: An apparatus (10) for breaking a perforation of a moving web (12) includes a web conveyor adapted to move a web in a machine direction, wherein the web (12) has at least one perforation, and at least one breaking member (22) moveable between a first position and a second position. The at least one breaking member (22) is adapted to be positioned remote from the at least one perforation at the first position and is adapted to be positioned adjacent the at least one perforation at the second position. A tensioning device (24) is adapted to sufficiently tension the web (12) against the at least one breaking member (22) such that the at least one perforation is broken. A system and method for breaking a perforation of a moving web is also provided.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for dispensing flat forms, such as labels, stickers, transdermal therapeutic systems, flat medicaments for oral application, etc, in a controlled manner. According to said method, the outer contour of the flat form (103) is punched out from a strip-shaped starting material and connecting bridges (105) hold the flat form (103) and the edge of the punched layer together. These connecting bridges (105) break when the flat forms are dispensed via a deflector edge (106). The inventive method can be advantageously used for packing individual flat forms in primary packaging. The invention also relates to a specialised punching device used in the method.

摘要: A printer assembly (1A) prints on a web (231) of lamina material that preferably has a bondable and printable layer (240) on the reverse side and can then be printed with information and laminated onto a blank card (29). The web (231) also preferably has a series of spaced transverse lines of reduced strength (230) so the web (231) can be separated into individual sheets (20) of lamina by creating a tension in the web (31) across the transverse line of reduced strength (230).

摘要: The dispenser (21) dispenses tickets (46) such as instant-winner lottery tickets from a strip in which the individual tickets are delineated by perforation lines (47). The dispenser includes a separator (58) to tear the tickets apart before issuing them from the machine. The separator preferably is rotary and has a dull helical blade (92) which rotates to contact the ticket strip adjacent a perforation line, and presses against the strip to tear the tickets apart along the perforation line at a point which progresses across the strip along the perforation line. A detector (140) is provided to position the front edge of the first ticket in the strip at the proper location before separation is performed. Preferably, a code bar reader is provided for reading information from the tickets to initialize the dispenser control system and in accounting for the sale of tickets, and in the verification of winning tickets being sold.
