    摘要: This invention relates to a process for converting acyclic C 5 hydrocarbons to cyclopentadiene including: providing to the at least one adiabatic reaction zone a feedstock comprising acyclic C 5 hydrocarbons at a temperature, Ti, wherein the at least one adiabatic reaction zone comprises a first particulate material comprising catalyst material; contacting the feedstock and the first particulate material in the at least one adiabatic reaction zone under reaction conditions to convert at least a portion of the acyclic C 5 hydrocarbons to a first effluent comprising cyclopentadiene intermediates, unconverted acyclic C 5 hydrocarbons, and, optionally, cyclopentadiene; heating the first effluent to a temperature, T 2 ; providing the first effluent to the at least one diabatic reaction zone; and contacting the first effluent and a second particulate material comprising catalyst material in the at least one diabatic reaction zone under reaction conditions to convert at least a portion of the cyclopentadiene intermediates and the unconverted acyclic C 5 hydrocarbons to a second effluent comprising cyclopentadiene.

    摘要: Methods and systems for recovering dicyclopentadiene from pygas are provided. Methods can include heating pygas to generated heated pygas, recovering a C 5 fraction from the heated pygas, and dimerizing cyclopentadiene from the C 5 fraction to form dicyclopentadiene. Methods can further include recovering the C 5 fraction from the pygas in a depentanizer column. Other methods can include heating pygas including dicyclopentadiene to form cyclopentadiene and hydrogenating cyclopentadiene in the pygas to form cyclopentane.
