摘要: A method of and apparatus for repairing a defect in a surface are provided, the method comprising the steps of a) providing a bolus of an at least partially liquid alloy in a charge chamber, the charge chamber having a closable outlet and a closable pressure inlet; b) introducing a pressurized fluid to the charge chamber via the pressure inlet and accelerating the bolus such that the bolus is ejected from the charge chamber via the outlet; c) directing the bolus along a pathway between the charge chamber and the defect such that the bolus contacts the defect; and d) solidifying the at least partially liquid alloy while it is contact with the defect.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to powders and wires made from a copper-containing alloy. The copper-containing alloy is a copper-nickel-tin alloy or a copper-nickel-silicon-chromium alloy. 摘要: Described in this document is a process for making heat transfer devices such as cold plates. The cold plates can be made by 3-D printing a polymer substrate, applying thermal spraying deposition of metal over the substrate, dissolving the substrate for removal to form an enclosed flow region through for passage of heat transfer fluid. Molten metal droplets can be sprayed onto the substrate having a surface region comprising a water- soluble thermoplastic to form metal splats on the surface region at a splat temperature and surface properties such that the metal splats penetrate and interlock to form a solid metal coating adhered to the polymer substrate. A dissolvable substrate can facilitate removal by contacting with a solvent to form the enclosed flow region defined by metallic surfaces, and also can enable complex geometries and enhanced heat transfer performance without the need for extensive machining.

摘要: Устройство электро дугового нанесения покрытий выполнено с возможностью подачи проволочных материалов диаметром 1, 0-4,0 мм из антикоррозионных нержавеющих металлов и сплавов, цинка, алюминия, алюминия -магния, цинк-алюминия, псевдосплавов, а также порошковой проволоки. Устройство содержит пистолет металлизатора с насадкой и закрепленными на ней держателями с форсунками для инжектирования легирующего материала и снабжено дополнительным контуром для подачи пропана или пропан-бутана, или пропан-воз душной смеси. Держатели выполнены повортными, с углом поворота, позволяющим инжектировать легирующий материал в различные зоны металлизационной струи. Обеспечивается сокращение количества технологического оборудования, уменьшение времени нанесения металлополимерного покрытия, формирование металлополимерного покрытия в рамках одного процесса без переналадки оборудования, получение функционального металлополимерного покрытия с требуемыми свойствами, эргономика.
