Abstract:
A textile dyeing process is described for dyeing a textile material, product or article consisting of animal fibers, comprising the steps of dipping said textile material, product or article into a dyeing bath comprising at least one detergent substance, a wetting substance, a leveling substance and an acidity regulator; adding to the dyeing bath a coloring substance approved for food use; subjecting the dyed textile material, product or article to washes; and finally subjecting the dyed textile material, product or article to a color fixing treatment.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a red-dyeing acid dye mixture comprising a dye of the formula (I) and at least one dye of the formula (II) a process for its manufacturing and a process for dyeing and printing of natural or synthetic polyamide fiber material in which it used.
Abstract:
A method of dyeing fabric material which comprises the step of contacting said fabric material with a bleaching agent prior to or simultaneously with contacting said fabric material with a dyestuff providing said colour. The fabric material so obtained is suitable for use in sports ball manufacture, especially tennis ball manufacture. The coloured fabric material preferably includes wool fibres and exhibits the following characteristics after dyeing: i) a chroma value of 100 or more; ii) a lightness value of 95 or more; and iii) a reflectance value of 120 or more. Preferably the dye is a yellow fluorescent dye.
Abstract:
A process is described for dyeing wool-containing fibre materials with anionic dyes, which comprises dyeing these materials in the presence of a wool protective agent comprising at least one compound of formula (1), wherein X is -NR-, -O- or -S-, A is an aliphatic radical containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms, phenyl or naphthyl, and R is hydrogen or an aliphatic radical containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or X-A is hydroxy or morpholino. This process gives rub-fast, level dyeings without any loss in the quality of the wool.
Abstract:
The invention relates to compositions comprising a keratin pigment material. The keratin pigment material comprises dyed keratin particles. Compositions comprising keratin pigment material such as inks, paints and cosmetic formulations have advantageous properties compared to similar compositions in which conventional pigment materials are used as colourants.
Abstract:
The invention relates to compounds of formula (I): R 0 signifies a C 1 to C 4 alkyl group, R 1 signifies CN or CONH 2 , R 2 signifies a secondary or tertiary amino group, R 3 signifies a secondary or tertiary amino group, BR is a bridge of the formula -A-B-A- wherein A is substituted phenyl or substituted naphthyl or unsubstituted phenyl or unsubstituted naphthyl, and B is a bivalent group of the formula -SO 2 -, -CONH-, -HNCO-, -SO 2 NH- or -HNSO 2 -, with the proviso that the compounds of formula (I) bear at least one anionic substituent.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the preparation of novel phosphoric acid esters having general formula (1) which are obtained by reacting phosphoryl chloride with special alcohols and which can be used as leveling agents for dying fibrous materials containing nitrogen.
Abstract:
A process for dyeing materials containing natural or synthetic polyamides is disclosed. The process includes immersing the materials to be dyed in a dye bath containing an acid dye. The pH of the dye bath is initially at a level that substantially inhibits the dye from being absorbed by the polymer. In accordance with the present invention, however, an acid producing composition is added to the bath which gradually reduces the pH of the bath and allows for uniform diffusion of the dye into the polymer. The acid producing composition of the present invention is a maleate ester, which, in one embodiment, is the reaction product of maleic acid or maleic anhydride and a glycol.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for printing a fiber blend, yarn, woven or non-woven or knit fabric comprising or consisting of at least acrylic, aramid, and optionally wool, a process for producing the composition, use of the composition, a process for printing said fiber blend, yarn, woven or non-woven or knit fabric, as well as to the printed fiber blend, yarn, woven or non-woven or knit fabric and the use thereof to manufacture goods like cloths therefore.
