Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for improving the ozone stability of an inkjet recording element. The present invention consists in using at least one sulfonic polystyrene or one of its sulfonate salts in an inkjet recording element, said element comprising a support and at least one ink-receiving layer including at least one hydrosoluble binder and inorganic fillers, for improving the ozone stability of said element.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a protein coating by cross-linking proteinaceous material in water and applying it onto a solid. The protein coating is water-resistant but can be removed and protects in particular technical articles such as a car, a bicycle, a pipe, a frame, a ceramic, a stone, a concrete, a glass paint, a wood, a cork, a wallpater, a carboard, or any part thereof.
Abstract:
This invention provides a method for decellularizing adipose tissue, comprising subjecting the adipose tissue to one or more incubations in an enzymatic digestion solution containing one or more enzymes, and one or more solvent extractions, wherein decellularized adipose tissue comprising an extracellular matrix with well-preserved three-dimensional structure is obtained. The invention also provides a decellularized adipose tissue comprising an extracellular matrix with well-preserved three-dimensional architecture, and bioscaffolds. microcarrier beads, and coatings comprising the decellularized adipose tissue.
Abstract:
The invention relates to compositions comprising a keratin pigment material. The keratin pigment material comprises dyed keratin particles. Compositions comprising keratin pigment material such as inks, paints and cosmetic formulations have advantageous properties compared to similar compositions in which conventional pigment materials are used as colourants.
Abstract:
Coatings with the use of natural materials such as a paint, which contains glue as an organic matter and is to be applied onto substrates such as lumbers, an undercoating, an adhesive, etc. aiming at minimize the generation of environmental contaminants by using organic matters made of natural materials and improving the miscibility of glue with other components to thereby facilitate handling. These coatings comprise pyroligneous acid solution the acetic acid component of which acts on glue so that the glue is maintained in a liquid state even at ordinary temperature. For example, a coating serving as a paint comprises from 60 to 80% by weight of liquid persimmon astringency, from 10 to 15% by weight of glue and from 5 to 15% by weight of a purified pyroligneous acid solution (pH 3 to 4). Owing to this composition, the coating can be uniformly mixed with other compositions, thereby solving troubles in handling due to viscosity. Moreover, these coatings comprise organic matters (i.e., glue and pyroligneous acid) made of natural materials and contribute to the relief of environmental pollution (for example, air pollution and soil pollution) when employed and discarded.
