Abstract: A set of machines can be deployed on a construction site or other worksite. The set of machines can include an intelligent machine and one or more standard machines. The intelligent machine can report location and activity data to an off-board computing system, while the standard machines can report location data to the off-board computing system. The off-board computing system can train a machine learning model based on the location and activity data from the intelligent machine, such that that the machine learning model can use location data about the standard machines to predict activities performed on the worksite by the standard machines.

Abstract: A proximity warning system (100) including cameras (104) positioned on a machine (10), processors (1210), and one or more memory devices (1250) including instructions for execution by the processors. The system includes instructions to receive (202), from the cameras (104), image data depicting an object (20) within a field of view (FOV) of the cameras (104). The system includes instructions to derive (204) a first distance between the object (20) and the machine (10) based on the image data and an alarm (108) is triggered (206) when the first distance is less than a first threshold distance D1. The system can include instructions to receive (208) a request to snooze the alarm (108) and discontinue the alarm (108). Additional image data can be received (210) from the cameras (104) and a second distance between the object (20) and the machine (10) is derived (212) based on the additional image data. The system includes instructions to cancel (214) the snooze and retrigger the alarm (108) when the second distance is less than a second threshold distance (D2).

Abstract: A vehicle moves through an environment (e.g., a farming, construction, mining, or forestry environment) and performs one or more actions in the environment. Portions of the environment may include moisture, such as puddles or mud patches. A control system associated with the vehicle may include a traversability model or a moisture model to help the vehicle operate in the environment with the moisture. In particular, the control system may employ the traversability model to reduce the likelihood of the vehicle attempting to traverse an untraversable portion of the environment, and the control system may employ the moisture model to reduce the likelihood of the vehicle performing an action that will damage a portion of the environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide augmented reality images to an operator of a machine. A pose of an augmented reality device relative to a cab of the machine is determined using image information. A pose of the augmented reality device in a real world coordinate frame is determined using a pose of the machine in the real world coordinate frame and the pose of the augmented reality device relative to the cab of the machine. Digital content is provided on one or more displays of the augmented reality device. The digital content is arranged on the one or more displays based on the pose of the augmented reality device in the real world coordinate frame.
