Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for determining a heading of a vehicle and a heading of an implement of a farming machine when the farming machine is stationary or moving at a speed below a threshold speed. The vehicle and the heading are attached together via a pivot hitch. A farming machine management system receives coordinates from a first location sensor coupled to the vehicle and a second location sensor coupled to the implement. The farming machine management system determines intersection points between a first circle centered at the first location sensor and a second circle centered at the second location sensor. The farming machine management system selects one of the intersection points based on an output of a machine learning model. The farming machine management system determines the headings of the vehicle and the implement and generates instructions for operating the farming machine based on the headings.

Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for the thermal conversion of biomass into biochar. A mobile platform may be used to maneuver a mobile biochar generation system within a field of biomass. The biomass may be harvested, preprocessed and pyrolyzed. After pyrolyzation, the biochar may be cooled to a predetermined temperature by integrating water and liquid nutrients into the biochar. The system may then control the application of the infused biochar by adjusting a spreading attachment and a plowing attachment.

Abstract: An autonomous lawn mowing system and method comprising receiving data from at least one autonomous lawn mower of a fleet of autonomous lawn mowers. The data comprising at least sensor data from one or more sensors associated with the at least one autonomous lawn mower. The sensor data is captured while the at least one autonomous lawn mower traversed an environment in accordance with a mow pattern. Based at least in part on the data, generating information indicative of one or more of: a diagnostic of the at least one autonomous lawn mower, an attribute associated with the environment, or a metric associated with the at least one autonomous lawn mower performing a task, and providing the information to a user.

Hierdurch können ein HOG-Verfahren und ein Referenzmarkierungs- Verfahren zur verbesserten Navigation kombiniert genutzt werden.

Abstract: Low profile object detection can be performed on mowers or other vehicles that may be autonomous. An autonomy controller can be employed on a mower to receive and process sensor data for a detection area to determine whether an object may be present in a region of interest within the detection area. When the autonomy controller determines that an object may be present, it can cause the ground speed of the mower to be slowed and can commence buffering region of interest sensor data over a period of time. The autonomy controller can process the buffered region of interest sensor data to determine whether an object is present in the region of interest, and if so, can alter the path of the mower appropriately.
