Abstract:
The invention relates to an exterior door handle system and to a method for controlling a motor vehicle door lock system. The aim of the invention is to provide a system for identifying the actuation of an exterior door handle by simple and inexpensive means. To this end, the exterior door handle can be elastically deformed and the deformation is detected by a sensor to identify an actuation of the door handle.

In a method for determining the distance between two devices in an identification system, a first device sends an electromagnetic signal that is formed by an oscillation stroke with a predetermined amplitude progression and duration, whose amplitude constantly decreases towards the end of the oscillation stroke. The signal is received and the duration of the part of the received signal exceeding a predetermined amplitude threshold value is measured. The distance between the devices is determined on the basis of said measured duration.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein kraftfahrzeugtechnisches Clip-Verbindungselement, insbesondere ein Clip-Verbindungselement zur Kopplung von Bauteilen (1, 2) eines Kraftfahrzeugschlosses, vorzugsweise Kraftfahrzeugtürschlosses. Das Verbindungselement verfügt über einen Spreizdorn (3) sowie wenigstens zwei den Spreizdorn (3) im Montagezustand rastend hintergreifende Spreizflügel (4). Erfindungsgemäß sind die Spreizflügel (4) im Querschnitt bauchig und gering beanstandet zu eine Abstützfläche (5) ausgebildet.

The object of the invention is a motor vehicle door lock, particularly a backrest lock (4), on a motor vehicle seat (1). The basic construction of the motor vehicle door lock includes a locking mechanism (7, 8, 9) consisting essentially of a rotary latch (9), a ratchet pawl (7) and a blocking element (8) for the ratchet pawl (7). In addition, a drive unit (15, 16, 17) that acts on a triggering element (12) is provided. According to the invention, the drive unit (15, 16, 17) is constructed as a linear adjustment drive (15, 16, 17), which acts on the triggering element (12) so that it interacts in succession, first with the blocking element (8) and then with the ratchet pawl (7).

A self-releasing clutch assembly for locking a vehicle door lock. The clutch assembly (11) includes a servo-actuated input drive and a cinching output drive. A gear shaped first actuator (42) is mounted to the input drive. A cylindrical second actuator (44) is mounted to the output drive and is moveable relative to the first actuator. Four pairs of rollers (50) are interdisposed between the first and second actuators and moveable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. With the disengaged position, the rollers rest against the first actuator and allowing the second actuator to rotate relative thereto. With the engaged position, the rollers interlock the first and second actuators for relative concurrent movement. The clutch assembly is characterized by the first actuator including four driving surfaces (43) and the second actuator including four corresponding abutments (48). The driving surfaces engage and move the rollers from the disengaged position to the engaged position in response to movement by the input drive. The abutments then lock the rollers between the first and second actuators to couple the input drive with the output drive thereby transferring the movement of the input drive to the output drive. The subject invention also includes a biasing device (54) for automatically returning the rollers to the disengaged position when the driving force from the first actuator ceases.

The invention relates to a rotary latch lock comprising a rotary latch (20) which receives a closing member (10), whereby said latch is spring-loaded (22) in an open position and retained by a pivoting spring-loaded catch (30) in a closed position. The locking catch (30) can also be mechanically shifted from closed position (whereby the latch is retained) to a release position by means of inside handles (24), outside handles (25) and security handles (26) in addition to other, possibly motorised means (70). Said lock encompasses three different states which are differentiated from each other in that all handles (24, 25, 26) or only some of these handles can be actuated from the inside. A release lever (35), acting mechanically upon the catch (30), is used. Said lever is connected to a control lever (28) which can be correspondingly shifted into three pivoting positions. According to the respective pivoting position, a mobile-mounted release-lever (35) driver (44) can be placed by the control lever (28) in a position whereby the various handles can become operative or inoperative according to choice.
