A display device is disclosed. The display device includes: a housing; at least one roller configured to be positioned within the housing; a display portion including a display panel and a module cover; and a telescopic bar, one end of which is fixed to the interior of the housing and the other end is fixed to the bottom end of the display portion, wherein the display panel and the module cover are either in a first state where the display panel and the module cover are kept wound around the at least one roller or in a second state where the display panel and the module cover are kept unwound from the at least one roller, in contact with each other, and exposed out of the housing. The telescopic bar supports the back of a display portion in conjunction with the display portion, thereby allowing the display portion to remain flat.

A banner assembly (1) is disclosed for single handed use comprising an elongate body (2) attachable to a wearable member (3); a stop member located within the elongate main body (2); and a banner (6). A portion of the banner is attached to the stop member for retaining one end of the banner (6) within the elongate body (2). The banner (6) is configurable between a first configuration where the banner (6) is disposed within the elongate body and a second configuration in which at least part of the banner (6) extends from the elongate body (2). This enables the banner (6) to be brought to an event in the stored state and then displayed at the event in an extended state so as to display the surface of the banner (6) that is provided with text and/or an image. Such a banner assembly (1) may, for example, be implemented at sporting events.

This Invention relates to a microphone accessory for use with a microphone, particularly a microphone flag for a handheld microphone composing a head and a handle extending from the head. The accessory comprises a housing comprising at least one display panel or zone; an attachment formation for attaching the microphone accessory to the microphone, in use; and a display arrangement suitably locatable in the housing. The display arrangement comprises a display member comprising a communication; and a electromechanical displacement asembly operatively connectable to the diplay member to cause displacement of the display member relative to the display panel or zone such, that the communication is displaceably locatable adjacent the display panel or zone, so as to be visible, in use. The invention also extends to a cartridge attachable to a suitably adapted, microphone flag, the cartrige comprising at least the display member.

The invention relates to a scrolling system for scrolling a printed roll of media comprising a mechanical scrolling apparatus and a user interface device (8A-8C), the mechanical scrolling apparatus comprising a first winder (1A) for placing the printed roll and from which first winder (1A) the printed roll is unwindable, a second winder (1B) for winding up the printed roll unwound from the first winder (1A), wherein at least one winder of the first and second winder (1Α,1Β) is drivable by a motor, an unwound area (4) at which a piece of the printed roll is unwound from the first winder (1A) and not yet wound up on the second winder (1B), and the user interface device (8A-8C) configured to receive a selection of a part of a digital representation of images printed on the roll, wherein upon receiving a selection of the part of the digital representation of the images printed on the roll by means of the user interface (8A-8C) device the motor is activated in order to scroll the printed roll by means of the two winders (1Α,1Β) until a piece of the printed roll arrives in the unwound area (4), which piece of the printed roll corresponds to the selected part of the digital representation. The invention also relates to a method to be applied by the scrolling system.

L'invention vise à permettre une visualisation optimale des affiches en ne masquant pas l'essentiel de l'environnement du dispositif mais permettant, au contraire, d'intégrer l'affichage à cet environnement, tout en réalisant une installation/désinstallation simple et rapide d'un dispositif d'affichage «in-store». Un dispositif d'affichage déroulant autoporté selon l'invention comprend deux mandrins (3) et (5), situés en position supérieure et inférieure, portés par des élingues (1) et un système d'entraînement desdits mandrins (3) et (5). De plus, un train d'affiches (2) est lié à chacune de ses extrémités à un mandrin (3) ou (5) par l'intermédiaire d'un moyen de serrage amovible, au moins l'un des mandrins (3) ou (5) est motorisé pour permettre l'entraînement du train d'affiches (2), les élingues (1) étant conductrices et permettant une alimentation électrique des moteurs.

A flexible display has barrier or other protective layers which are attached to the display only along a seam, rather than being attached to a surface of the display. The protective layers form an envelope or bag, which may have different properties on each side of the display surface and may be filled with an inert gas or inert and optically compensating liquid. The durability and lifetime of the display are increased.

The invention relates to a large surface advertising device for posters and a corresponding method for controlling the poster exchange. The aim of the invention is to achieve an advertisement device which permits the installation of significantly larger advertising devices and operation over a long period of time with alternating adverts. The method shall permit a frequent poster change with short cycle times. According to the invention, the large surface advertising device for posters comprises a housing, housing chassis and base frame (6), with winding shafts (1 and 2) arranged thereon for accommodating web-like rollable posters. The poster web is moved between both said rollers (1) and (2), by means of winding on and off to change posters. At least one diverting device (3 and 4) is arranged at the top and bottom, before the upper winding shaft (1) and the lower winding shaft (2), on the housing chassis and the base frame (6). The guides for the posters permit winding of the poster web either on winding shaft (1) or (2) without the formation of creases. The controller maintains a free-hanging poster loop on the lower diverting device, independent of the winding direction.
