    摘要: The present invention provides a terminal assembly (18) for connecting an electrical connector to a circuit breaker (10). The device has a housing (12) with an interior surface defining an interior space (16). A terminal assembly (18) includes a clamp body (20) having a first surface and a second surface (26, 28). The portion of the first surface extends downward to define an interior wall (42) of a cylinder (32). The interior wall (42) extends perpendicularly to the first surface (26). A substantial portion of the interior wall (42) of the cylinder (32) has threads. A fastener (24) has a head at one end of an elongated body (46) and screw threads (60) near the opposite end. The screw threads (60) have been adapted to engage the threads on the interior wall (42) of the cylinder of the clamp body. A clamp plate (22) has a body plate (20) which is particularly defined by a top surface (52) and a bottom surface (54). The plate body has an aperture (44) for accommodating the fastener (24) through the plate body.

    摘要: A resilient terminal (14) is mounted in a nonconductive housing (12) to form an electrical connector (10) for terminating wires (2, 6). The terminals include insulating piercing teeth (28) at opposite ends and opposed terminals (14) are mounted in opposed housing (12) with the teeth (28) aligned with the wires (2, 6) to be terminated or spliced and located at the free end of spring beams (30) of the terminals. The terminal spring beams (30) are spring biased relative to the housing (12) through the bottom surface (28) of the housing slots (24). Overstressing of the terminal spring beams (30) is prevented because the spring beams (30) bottom against the slot bottom surface (28) or against other portions of the terminal (14) that engage the bottom surface (28).

    摘要: An electrical connector configured to control a compression force applied to a core is disclosed. The electrical connector includes a body having a tubular shape, a centerline extending along a longitudinal direction of the body, and an opening extending along the centerline from an outer surface of the body to the center cavity. The body includes a center cavity configured to receive and encase the core. The centerline defines a first portion and a second portion such that the first portion includes a bore hole configured to receive a bolt and the second portion includes a tap hole with a tapered threaded portion configured to receive a screw portion of the bolt. The tap hole is aligned with the bore hole so that the bolt may connect the bore hole and the tap hole to close the opening.
