Abstract: Изобретение относится к промышленности строительных материалов и предназначено для производства керамических изделий пластического формования методом экструзии. Шнековый пресс содержит корпус с внутренним каналом и шнек, размещенный на приводном валу внутри канала, за которым далее по ходу движения материала, на вал жестко посажены лопастные ножи, чередующиеся с неподвижно закрепленными в корпусе поперечными формующими дисками, перекрывающими не более 20% сечения канала. Каждый последующий нож повернут на оси приводного вала относительно предыдущего ножа на угол, составляющий половину угла между лопастями. Площадь, перекрываемая лопастями каждого ножа, составляет от 70 до 90% сечения канала пресса. Угол наклона лопастей ножа к плоскости формующего диска составляет от 15° до 20°. Первым и последним по ходу движения материала установлены формующие диски. Повышается качество керамических изделий за счет предотвращения образования свили и создания в керамической массе однородной по всему поперечному сечению формуемого бруса структуры повышенной плотности.

Abstract: A system and method monitoring the properties of curing concrete systems to assist in adjusting curing conditions to produce predetermined properties in the hardened or cured concrete. The apparatus and method achieves this by providing a low-cost, minimally invasive means for gaining insight into the conditions of the curing concrete by using electrical impedance analysis. Sensors are distributed throughout the system to collect and transmit electrical impedance data, which is then interpreted in reference to correlations with other relevant physical and chemical properties.

Abstract: A 3D printable clay-based mortar cementitious ink includes a blend of commercially available Portland cement, calcium carbonate, sand, and calcined clay. The calcined clay is produced from the calcination of clay having a high kaolinite content of greater than about 60%. The clay is calcined at a temperature of between about 600°C and about 800°C, preferably between about 650°C and about 850°C, for a period of one to two hours. In a preferred embodiment, a ratio of calcined clay to Portland cement is about 0.148, a ratio of calcium carbonate to Portland cement is about 0.333, and a ratio of sand to Portland cement is approximately about 3.0. The ratio of water to powder (clay, cement, calcium carbonate, and sand) may range between 0.39 and 0.40.
