The present invention relates to a marine drive unit (1) comprising an upper bevel gear set (2) and a lower bevel gear set (3), wherein the upper bevel gear set (2) is connected to the lower bevel gear set (3) by a drive shaft (4) which extends in vertical direction. A first oil pump (5) is arranged to supply oil to the upper bevel gear set (2) and a second oil pump (6) is arranged to feed a cooling oil circuit.

An air diffuser (8) is intended to be installed in a cooling rotating interface (2) of a propulsion oriented device, the propulsion oriented device being pivotable relative to a vessel around an axis of rotation (4), the air diffuser (8) being intended to be attached to the propulsion oriented device. The air diffuser includes a main portion (38) intended to be surrounded by an air box (6) attached to the vessel so as to delimit, inside the volume delimited by the air box (6), a first fluid path for a cold fluid flow and a second fluid path for a warm fluid flow from each other. The main portion (38) is a solid of revolution around the axis of rotation (4).

A retractable thruster for a swimming vessel, wherein the retractable thruster comprises a propeller and a lifting and lowering arrangement. The lifting and lowering arrangement is configured to vertically move the propeller between a retracted position and an ejected posi- tion. In the retracted position the pro- peller is substantially inside a bottom well of the swimming vessel and in the ejected position the propeller is sub- stantially outside the bottom well. The retractable thruster comprises a water- permeable protective element configured to be located inside the bottom well above the propeller and configured to vertically move with the propeller. In the ejected position the water-permeable protective element is configured to sub- stantially prevent loose ice from drift- ing inside the bottom well through the water-permeable protective element and when the propeller is moved from the re- tracted position to the ejected position, the water-permeable protective element is configured to push ice out of the bottom well. There is provided a control arrangement for controlling at least two azimuthing propulsion units of a ship. The control arrangement comprises a crash stop activation member for activating a crash stop procedure, after which the crash stop procedure is executed in which the orientation and propulsion speed of the azimuthing propulsion units are controlled until the propagation speed of the ship has at least been reduced from the moment when the crash stop procedure was activated.
