    Abstract: An arrangement (1) of an umbilical (19) of data communication lines and/or electrical energy transmission lines mounted on a lazy wave catenary riser (2) wherein the umbilical (19) has a first umbilical section (20) extending from an upper hang off location (4) of the riser (2) continuously downward to a first installation point (21) at the riser (2) and a second umbilical section (22) extending from a second installation point (23) at the riser (2) continuously downward to the sea bed (17) at a touch down location (16) of the riser (2), wherein the first installation point (21) is positioned in an installation region (24) of the riser (2) between a lowest sag bend point (7) and a highest hog bend point (12) of the lazy wave catenary riser (2) extension, and the first umbilical section (20) is tensioned to a flatter catenary shape than a catenary shape of the riser (2) between the upper hang off location (4) and the first installation point (21), so that between the upper hang off location (4) and the first installation point (21 ) the first umbilical section (20) extends at a distance and detached from the riser (2).

    Abstract: Предложенная полезная модель относится к трубам НКТ, т.е. к «насосно- компрессорным трубам», а именно к трубам, позволяющим осуществлять целый спектр нефтепромышленных, геологоразведочных и бурильных работ. Биметаллическая насосно-компрессорная труба (НКТ) включает основную наружную трубу из углеродистой стали и непосредственно примыкающую к ней тонкостенную внутреннюю трубу из нержавеющей стали. Тонкостенная внутренняя труба распресована в наружной трубе посредством пластической деформации указанной тонкостенной внутренней трубы с ее полным непосредственным прилеганием к внутренней поверхности основной наружной трубы. Техническим результатом заявленной полезной модели является упрощение конструкции трубы НКТ с одновременным повышением ее долговечности.

    Abstract: A subsea line clamp assembly (1) has a body (10) having an axis and a clamp member (50), assembled in segments around a subsea line (3), and tethered to a subsea anchor (5). The clamp member (50) is movably located within the body (10). The inner surface of the body (10) and the outer surface of the clamp member (50) have respective tapered portions as part of teeth (32, 72) arranged to inter-engage. Adjacent teeth (32, 72) may be separated by axis-parallel portions. The clamping force on the subsea line (30) can be maintained at a consistent clamping force throughout the service life of the subsea line (3), despite the actions of creep and compression acting to reduce the outer diameter of the line (3).

    Abstract: By mutually interconnected specimens of a suppression element (100) according to the invention, there can be formed a strong and reliable construction of a tube around a tubular element. The suppression element (100) has a first fin structure (141) which is extending helically along a portion (121) of a first longitudinal edge (121, 131, 131 A, 131B), and a second fin structure (142) which is extending helically along a portion (122) of an opposite second longitudinal edge (122, 132, 132 A, 132B). In said tube, first fin structures and second fin structures of the various suppression elements are lying helically in-line relative to one another for effectively reducing vortex induced vibrations. The suppression elements (100, 200, 300, 400) are compactly stackable relative to one another.
