    摘要: Embodiments herein describe on-demand packetization where data (115) that is too large to be converted directly into data words (DWs) (130) for a chip-to-chip (C2C) interface (140) are packetized instead. When identifying a protocol word (115) that is larger than the DW (130) of the C2C interface (140), a protocol layer (120a) can perform packetization where a plurality of protocol words (115) are packetized and sent as a transfer. In one embodiment, the protocol layer (120a) removes some or all of the control data or signals in the protocol words (120a) so that the protocol words no longer exceed the size of the DW (130). These shortened protocol words (115) can then be mapped to DWs (130) and transmitted as separate packets on the C2C (140). The protocol layer (120a) can then collect the portion of the control data that was removed from the protocol words (115) and transmit this data as a separate packet on the C2C interface (140).

The mobile device then transmits, via a wired or wireless connection, the software package to the payment terminal. The payment terminal then installs the software package.

For example, systems described herein facilitate transferring data between memory blocks (106a, 106b) having different shapes from one another. The systems described herein facilitate transferring data between different shaped memory blocks (106a, 106b) by identifying shape properties and other characteristics of the data and generating a plurality of network packets having control data based on the identified shape properties and other characteristics. This data included within the network packets enables memory controllers to determine memory addresses on a destination memory block to write data from the network packets. Features described herein facilitate efficient transfer of data without generating a linearized copy that relies on constant availability of significant memory resources.

    摘要: An isolating repeater (300) and corresponding method for Universal Serial Bus (USB) communications. The isolating repeater includes, on either side of a galvanic isolation barrier (315), front end circuitry (350, 360) coupled to a pair of external terminals (UDP, UDM; DDP, DDM), a full speed (FS) transceiver (310, 340) adapted to drive and receive signals over one or more FS isolation channels (DP_LR, DM_LR, DP_RL, DM_RL), and a high speed (HS) transceiver adapted to drive signals over one HS isolation channel (DHS_LR, DHS_RL) and receive signals over another HS isolation channel (DHS_RL, DHS_LR).
