摘要:
The preferred embodiments provide, e.g., a high quality flexible tracheostomy tube assembly including an outer tracheostomy cannula and a disposable, flexible inner cannula. In preferred embodiments, the product provides a single patient use, sterile device.
摘要:
A method to purify N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) from an aqueous solution containing acetic acid as a contaminant. Two fractional distillation columns (10, 20) are arranged in series. The first column (10) has a condenser (11) overhead and a reboiler (13) at the bottom. The second column (20) also has a condenser (21) overhead and a reboiler (23) at the bottom. The solution containing the contaminant is provided to the first column (10) with a temperature profile to result in acetic acid partitioning into the overhead water. The material remaining in the bottom portion of the first column is recycled to the first column and also provided in a second column (20), whereby DMAc free of acetic acid contamination is recovered, and remaining DMAc and acetic acid are returned to the first column for further separation.
摘要:
A process for the preparation of a quaternary derivative of the morphinan alkaloid, the process comprising contacting a tertiary N-substituted morphinan alkaloid with an alkyl halide in an anhydrous solvent system, wherein the solvent system comprises an aprotic dipolar solvent with the aprotic dipolar solvent constituting at least 25 wt% of the solvent system.
摘要:
A method for the catalytic conversion of codeine, morphine or analogs thereof into hydrocodone, hydromorphone or analogs thereof utilizing a transition metal complex of a tertiary phosphine halide as catalyst.

The sensitivity and specificity of the optical modality can be enhanced by the use of highly absorbing dyes as contrast agents. Novel indocyanine dyes that absorb and emit light in the near infrared region of electromagnetic spectrum are disclosed. These dyes are useful for imaging, diagnosis and therapy of various diseased states. Particularly, the molecules of the invention are useful for optical diagnostic imaging and therapy, in endoscopic applications for the detection of tumors and other abnormalities, for localized therapy, for photoacoustic tumor imaging, detection and therapy, and for sonofluorescence tumor imaging, detection and therapy.

The invention relates to a method for improving one or more physical/chemical characteristics, like reduced radiolysis of and the ability to autoclave, a 18F-fluor-deoxy-glucose (18F-FDG)-solution, which method comprises the steps of a) provision of a 18F-fluor-deoxy-glucose (18F-FDG)-solution, and b) addition of at least one buffer based on a weak acid to the 18F-fluor-deoxy-glucose (18F-FDG)-solution. The invention also relates to a method for preparing a sterile 18F-fluor-deoxy-glucose (18F-FDG)-solution by autoclaving said 18F-fluor-deoxy-glucose (FDG)-solution.
