    摘要: A method and apparatus for new installation or bursting and replacement of underground pipelines (18) without the necessity of trenches. This method and apparatus allow for the installation without the need for large excavations at the end point of the line (18) and allow for nondestructive termination at an existing vault, structure or manhole (20) without having to rebuild the structure, vault or manhole (20). The apparatus includes a head assembly (10) that breaks apart fracturable pipe (18) and expands the hole to accommodate the desired size of pipe (25). Because of the method of applying forces, the expansion of pipe diameter can be very substantial. Because of the head assembly (10), the head (10) can be disassembled as the pipe (25) and head (10) enter a manhole, vault, structure or limited space (20) and thus no need to excavate the vault or structure (20), or create a large end excavation is necessary, thus saving time and money and avoiding disruption of traffic in street locations.

    摘要: The present invention provides methods of harvesting rare cells from blood products and/or obtaining products of the rare cells. The method includes contacting a blood product containing rare cells with a porous medium, and selectively retaining rare cells of interest on the porous medium. The porous medium can be contacted with an elution fluid wherein a population of the rare cells is eluted from the porous medium. Rare cells selectively retained on the porous medium can be cultured on the porous medium, and products of the rare cells can be obtained.
