Abstract:
The invention is a refrigerator comprising a vegetable room (405) for storing fruits or vegetables in the refrigerator, and a plurality of light sources (437) for illuminating light to spaces in the vegetable room (405), wherein the light source (437) combines the light of a wavelength that enables the penetration of light into surfaces of the fruits or vegetables and the light of a wavelength that enables the penetration of light into interiors of the fruits or vegetables for the purpose of illumination. Accordingly, high-quality fruits or vegetables enhanced in nutrient value can be stored, and making it easier to associate the illumination with the foods to be stored, it is possible for the user to recognize the temperature condition in the storage room at first sight.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the food-processing industry, particularly, to a method for manufacture and storage of honey-containing fruit and/or berry products. According to the invention, a fruit and/or berry juice and honey are mixed in the following proportions (weight percent): fruit and/or berry juice 75-93; honey 25-7,
and the obtained product is stored at a temperature between -10°C to -18°C. Upon unpacking, the product can be stored in a home refrigerator during 120 to 240 hours (dependent on the kind of the fruit and/or berry juice).
Abstract:
A method for preserving food is implemented in a crisper bin of a refrigerator having a compressor for driving a refrigerant flow in a refrigeration circuit and LEDs (12,14) on a top wall of the crisper for treating the food contained therein with light. The LEDs (12,14) are switched on and off in phase with the compressor switching on and off.
Abstract:
The procedure consists of subjecting the product to osmosis in order to force the fruit perspiration until reducing its water content between 6 and 10%, or whether using the vacuum cooling (vacuum cooler) technique or through a dry air stream, after which said products are flashily frozen in a tunnel or closet with liquid nitrogen, carbonic anhydride or mechanical cooling depending on the product size and shape (whole, peeled or sliced), at a temperature below -40°C. The dry air can be supplied through a dehumidifier, or it can either be dried through a strong air cooling and then heating.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a method for the preservation of olive oil which consists of freezing and/or vacuum-packing the paste obtained from ground olives. Additionally, the invention also comprises the olive paste obtained through the preservation method and the procedure for obtaining the olive oil and the olive oil obtained through this method.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigerator (1) comprising a light source (4) that irradiates in order to preserve the freshness of the food therein. The light source (4) utilized in the refrigerator (1) of the present invention provides to emit light of a suitable wavelength on the fruits and vegetables.
