摘要: The present invention relates to a method and a device for the assessment of quantity and quality parameters of biological particles in a liquid analyte material. The method comprises applying a volume of a liquid sample to an exposing domain from which exposing domain electromagnetic signals from the sample in the domain can pass to the exterior, and exposing, onto an array of active detection elements such as CCD-elements, a spatial representation of electromagnetic signals having passed from the domain, the representation being detectable as an intensity by individual active detection elements, under conditions permitting processing of the intensities detected by the array of detection elements during the exposure in such a manner that representation of electromagnetic signals from the biological particles are identified as distinct from representations of electromagnetic signals from background signals. The light source is a LED and/or a laser diode, arranged to transmit light onto the sample.

摘要: The invention relates to the field of detecting and optionally collecting and isolating rare event particles. The method according to the invention is based on relatively simple optical equipment, which requires a few and uncomplicated decisions for the user of the system. The method is based on the acquisition of an image of relatively low resolution and magnification of a large volume of sample and detecting the presence or absence of the rare event particle. The method is then repeated with at least one further volume of sample. The method is particularly adapted for detection of white blood cells in leuko-depleted blood.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of assessing at least one quality parameter and/or at least one quantity parameter of at lest one analyte wherein said at least one analyte is connected to a catalyst capable of catalysing a substrate into a product, whereby the analyte is assessed through detection of product produced around the analyte. More particularly the present invention relates to a method of assessing at least one quality parameter or at least one quantity parameter of at least one species of analytes in a sample comprising the steps of establishing a sample domain having at least one wall, arranging in the sample domain catalyst-analyte complexes between the at lest one species of analytes and at least one catalyst in a manner allowing the analytes to move relative to the wall(s) of the sample domain, arranging a substrate in the sample domain, said substrate being capable of being converted into a product through catalysation by said catalyst, contacting the substrate with the catalyst-analyte complexes of individual analytes allowing a detectable amount of product to be produced, recording an image of the product related to individual analytes in the sample domain, correlating the image to the at least one quality parameter or the at least one quantity parameter of the at least one species of analytes.
