The water-soluble resin for printing of the present invention includes a monomer unit A having a sulfonate group; and a monomer unit B having no hydrophilic group, and a percentage of the monomer unit A based on a total of all monomer units is 5 to 35 mol%. According to the water-soluble resin for printing of the present invention, a printed matter from which a printing layer can be safely and efficiently removed with neutral water and which is excellent in water resistance can be realized.

The present invention relates to a damping-imparting agent including a compound having a sulfosuccinic acid (salt) structure. The present invention also relates to a resin composition for damping materials, including an emulsion prepared by polymerizing a monomer component, the composition further including a component having a sulfosuccinic acid (salt) structure.

There is provided a highly versatile curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization-type unsaturated resin that is highly soluble in organic solvents, can be used outdoors, and has a curing performance equal to or higher than the curing performance of cobalt metallic soaps, which are feared to have an influence on the human body, without the use of any cobalt metallic soap. There are also provided a printing ink and a coating material that use the above curing accelerator. Specifically, the curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization-type unsaturated resin that is used contains a fatty acid manganese salt (A) and a compound (B) represented by formula (1) below, (wherein R 1 and R 4 are each a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, a hydrocarbonoxy group, or an amino group, R 2 and R 5 are each a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, a hydrocarbonoxy group, a hydrocarbonoxycarbonyl group, a cyano group, a nitro group, or a halogen atom, R 3 and R 6 are each a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group, and R 7 is a divalent hydrocarbon group, and wherein R 1 and R 2 may form a ring, and and R 5 may form a ring).
